● Within the Department of Student Life & Engagement, there are 2 organizations that plan a large majority of the student-centered events. Those organizations are Harborside Activities Board and the Multicultural Activities Council. Harborside Activities Board(HAB)

● Harborside Activities Board is the student-led programming board on campus that plans and implements high quality events for all students. ● HAB events range from educational, cultural, social, late night & weekend(50 people showed up on a Saturday morning during the FIRST home football game), and co-curricular. In the Department of Student Life & Engagement, it is our belief that co-curricular activities make for a more rewarding college experience. ● We have five committees each focusing on a different type of event. These committees include Traditions, Special Events, Stage Acts, Films, and Marketing/Design. ● Advised by professional staff member Harborside Activities Board(HAB)

Notable events:

● Homecoming Week (Homecoming Ball, Cardboard Boat Race, etc) ● USFSP Week ( Rec Fest, TEDx, USFSP’s Got Talent, collaborations with OMA, LSO, and Campus Recreation) ● Annual Haunted House ● (Regular & Condom Casino) ● Screen on the Green (Baywatch, Wonder Woman, Spiderman) ● Campus Movie Fest (Film Festival) Past Events: Multicultural Activities Council(MAC)

● Multicultural Activities Council is a student-led programming board run by the Office of Multicultural Affairs. ● MAC events range from diverse entertainment, cultural celebrations, and educational discussion based events. ● The mission of the multicultural activities council is to enhance multicultural awareness, implement a more inclusive campus environment, and promote diversity. Multicultural Activities Council(MAC)

● Diversity Week ● Multicultural Mixer ● Annual Drag Show ● Black History Showcase ● Lunar New Year Market ● Festival of Lights ● Real Talk Past Events: Pete Points

● Incentive for students that attend campus events. ● Great Marketing Strategy ● Pete’s Auction The Office of Leadership & Student Orgs.

● LSO is your source for leadership learning, service opportunities, and student organizations on campus. Our mission is to transform lives through leadership education, identity development, and community engagement. Annual Events: Student Organizations

● Roughly 100 active student organizations - Advisors - Student Government ● Student Organization Trainings ● Student Organization Suite (S.O.S.) Important Dates:

● October 20th - Last day to submit Greek Life interest survey ● November 8th - Faculty/Staff Lunch ○ (USC Ballrooms - 12pm-1:30pm) Personal Experiences:
