The scientists used a dual-inlet isotope ratio mass spectrometer to measure noble gases trapped in Antarctic ice caps, and showed that mean global ocean temperature increased by 2.57 ± 0.24 degrees Celsius over the last glacial transition (20,000 to 10,000 years ago). We have received briefings from the Confederation of British Industry (CBI), the Federation of Small Businesses Northern Ireland (FSB), Hospitality Ulster, Manufacturing NI, the Northern Ireland Council for Voluntary Action (NICVA), the Northern Ireland Retail Consortium, Retail NI, and a report from two east Antrim business people of their meeting on 29 January 2020.
