With paschal bread of gladness. He is again arisen, The ancient leaven shall not be Eternal life He gave us. In this pure word of goodness. BWV 4: CHRIST LAG IN TODESBANDEN 1. Sinfonia 1. Sinfonia 2. Versus 1 - Choral 2. Verse 1 - Chorale Christ lag in Todesbanden für unsre Sünd gegeben, Christ lay in death's bonds given over for our sins, Er ist wieder erstanden und hat uns bracht das Leben; He has risen again and brought us life; Des wir sollen fröhlich sein, therefore we should be joyful, Gott loben und ihm dankbar sein praise God and be thankful to Him Und singen halleluja, and sing Hallelujah, 3.
