Food Start with the savoury items – lobster roll, smoked salmon bagel and Reuben sandwich – all filled with a generous amount of ingredients. Sweet treats include red velvet cake, carrot cake and New York cheesecake by executive pastry chef Tai Chien Lin. Complete the indulgence with cocktails ($20 each) such as Manhattan, Cosmopolitan and Bronx, or go for champagne (from $25). The lamb is not too gamey and I like the chunks of king oyster mushroom in the meat-free option. They include roasted dates jam ($8), coriander spiced strawberry jam ($8) and Hunter’s Butter ($20) – made with rendered animal fat of the day such as duck, lamb or wagyu beef. For spices ($7 each), go for the adjika spice, a red pepper spice good for marinating meats; or Khmeli Suneli spice, a traditional Georgian spice mix used for stews or seasoning vegetables.
