• Quality Talk is a small-group discussion approach that encourages learners to use talk as a tool for thinking and interthinking (thinking together). • Quality Talk (QT) grew out of a systematic investigation of the most effective discussion models being used in classrooms today. • Quality Talk is aimed at improving learners’ comprehension and critical-analytic thinking about, around, and with text.
