Random tables are a gamemaster’s best friend. The tables can be used in a variety of ways. The GM can roll on the table. A player could be asked to roll. However the tables are used, they help reduce the amount of decisions gamemasters must make during the game. The tables are organized into six sections: Items & Things, Famous Victorians, English Names, French Names, Locations & Encounters, and Adventure Hooks. In the Items & Things section, GMs have plenty of options when their players ask to search common places like rooms and desks. There are many more lists, such as cargo, a scientist’s lab, books, and medicines. All are from the time period. The section of Famous Victorians lets the gamemaster add real people into their steampunk games. Many steampunk games are set in England or more specifically in London, so tables of English names have been included. Paris has also been the setting of numerous steampunk adventures, so likewise, French names are included. The Locations & Encounters section gives the GM options and ideas for situations or interesting locations during sessions. The Adventure Hooks section provides ideas and settings for creative steampunk adventures. This little book will help take the pressure off the next time you run your steampunk campaign or sessions. Relax and have fun exploring the future of the past. Bon voyage! Matt Davids 3/24/2021 Sample file 5 ITEMS & THINGS Sample file AIRSHIP CArgO 1. Walrus tusks (2D20) 51. Pink Ivory (1D6 planks) 2.
