Qatar Bloggers-Photographers and Indian Meetup Friends (IMF) recently organised a blood donation camp at Aster Medical Center, Al Hilal. The camp was held in association with the medical centre and Hamad Medical Corporation. More than 40 registered volunteers donated blood. The donors were from IMF, Qatar Bloggers group and Aster Medical Center. The camp was organised in a safe and secure environment with assistance and support from Hamad Medical staff s and Aster volunteers. The camp also included blood tests examining haemoglobin levels of the donors, the type of blood donated and a set of questionnaire for the donors regarding their health history. The donors were also credited with a certificate from Aster to avail some free services for future visits.
