Her life experiences contributed to the publication of her new book called “Crossing the Border.” She was the featured speaker at the Warren Public Library Conference Center on September 16, and was interviewed earlier that day for Warren Cable TV. “Crossing the Border” is a compilation of nine short sto- ries of fictional Ukrainian characters who have journeyed to another place, either physically or emotionally, at great expense to themselves and their loved ones.
