DECLARATION AND CONITIONS OF ENTRY : (Strike out 1 or 2) 1. I am in possession of a current 'A' class Hartley TS16 Association certificate of registration for this yacht and I certify that the yacht and its equipment have not been altered in any way which would negate the certificate. 2. My TS16 basically conforms to the Hartley TS16 plans, is not registered "A" class, but is registered with the Hartley TS16 Association of Australia. 3. The helmsperson is a current financial member of The Hartley TS16 Association of Australia. It is clearly understood that the yacht and crew are taking part in this regatta at their own risk and responsibility. I agree to be bound by The Racing Rules of Sailing, the prescriptions of Australia, the Notice of Race, the Sailing Instructions and the Hartley TS16 Association rules. I certify that this boat is insured with valid third party liability insurance with a minimum cover of $10 million per incident or the equivalent and will ensure that this cover remains current throughout the series. 4. I have read and accept rules 2 and 3 of the RRS, and I understand that in accord with rule 4, “Decision to Race”, that I shall participate in the regatta entirely at my own risk. I accept that the organizing authority including the Largs Bay Sailing Club and the National and State divisions of the Hartley TS16 Association and the volunteers and paid servants of these organisations will not accept any liability for material damage or personal injury or death sustained in conjunction with or prior to, during, or after the regatta.

Weighing, Measuring and Safety Check of Boats During measuring and in addition to items listed below, a visual check will be made of each boat. Should any aspect of the boat presented be in doubt the measurer will perform a more detailed inspection.

Weighing All boats must be weighed prior to competing. Minimum weight is 360 kilos. Those boats weighing under 360 kilos will need to add weight (as directed) to adjust to minimum weight.

Measuring  mast, boom and whisker pole  black bands will be measured and are required to be painted on in a contrasting  rudder blade - depth below planking  sails need to be stamped with the Measurer's official stamp (indicating date of measurement)

Instruments  Stop Watch, Compass and Wind Direction Indicator only permitted

Safety Check  All boats will need to be checked for safety compliance (eg - pfd, anchor, paddles, centreplate lockdown, buoyancy, etc.)

Members are reminded to make themselves familiar the Hartley TS16 Special Sailing Rules and Special Measurement Rules that form part of the Constitution of the Hartley 16 Association of Australia Inc.

Note: Spot checks may be carried out during the series Winners of Association Events may be required to submit their boat for re-measurement
