Choice of main hyd. valve: SDS150 for oil flow up to 80L/min SDS180 for 100L/min flow or higher At 80L/min, the speed increase is around 5% between SDS180 and SDS150
PTO installation: Take care about the PTO acceptable torque in the pump choice If possible choose a PTO ratio near to1 ‰ 80cm3/rot pump give 80L/min In case of different PTO ratio, the pump size needs to be adjusted
Rear engine pump: In case of fixed pump a bypass valve must be added to stop flow (Switch is already in cab when the pump is delivered with the truck – Volvo mounting) PTO ratio = 1 by default Max PTO speed shouldn’t exceed 150rpm (the PTO ratio needs to be integrated in the rpm)

For certain X-pump applications with a continuous, not disconnectable secondary drive number existing (e.g. motor-camshaft drive), there is a special by-pass valve, which is mounted directly at the end of the pump body. This allows a continuous pumping rotation speed with the following advantages: • No heat development within the hydraulic circuit • No negative detraction of the pumps‘ service life • No further necessary modifications at the hydraulic system of the vehicle The by-pass valve is a shiftable solenoid valve (24 volt). Without flow, the by-pass valve is open and connects the pressure side with the suction side. Charged with electric flow, the by-pass valve is closed and operating pressure is built up .
