In doing so, we strive to serve our customers, enhance shareholder value, invest in our communities and provide promising careers, while operating in an ethical manner. This report details progress in our four areas of concentration related to environmental, social, and governance issues: investing in our workforce, driving sustainable solutions, championing environmental stewardship and strengthening our communities. This report also summarizes our 2020 financial performance and, new this year, includes a Facts and Figures section. We used the Global Reporting Initiative’s global sustainability reporting standards as a framework to report our most material social responsibility issues, and are reporting our GRI Standards Index data for the first time. however, we’re making short-term plans, too We continue to reduce the size of our locomotive fleet as we operate longer trains, and anticipate further opportunities to grow train size Our Energy Management Systems on locomotives help us identify opportunities to save fuel, and we’re using automatic shutdowns for locomotives, rather than leaving them idle in yards We’ve tasked senior leaders in Engineering, Mechanical and Operating to identify more ways -- both near- and long-term – to drive meaningful change Our efforts to reduce GHG emissions directly align with goal No 11 of the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) It’s one of the seven SDGs Union Pacific identified as areas where we can make a difference This report details our progress, and I’m proud of the impact we’re having, especially on goals addressing Gender Equality and Reduced Inequalities Several events in 2020 brought racial injustice and inequality to the forefront I am proud of the work Union Pacific is doing to unite itself and the communities where we operate Our headquarters building was damaged during protests surrounding George Floyd’s death Instead of merely boarding up our windows, we covered the broken glass with artwork that bore a heartfelt message: We Are One It’s a powerful statement to the community about where we stand We’re also holding listening sessions that include minority employees and external speakers to better understand their experiences and identify areas where we can improve as a company and as leaders These are passionate conversations, and we are stronger because of them Though we’re all still learning, healing and growing, the impacts of the past year will be felt in our communities – and our world – for years to come With 2020 in the rearview mirror, we as a company are approaching the future with a new business strategy built on these four words: Serve, Grow, Win, Together That combination, along with the best employees in the industry, position us to keep Building America for generations to come Lance Fritz – Chairman, President and CEO 4 Our Company Union Pacific Railroad Company is the principal operating company of Union Pacific Corporation (NYSE: UNP).     Colorado Springs, Colorado, July 31, 1901. To the Happy Successors of the People of the Twentieth Century, Greeting: In the upbuilding of an empire, certain essentials are so necessary, success would be impossible without them. Among these essentials, transportation facilities stand first. The people of Colorado, during the years 1867 and 1868 when the plans of the Union Pacific Company were developing, knew this and they watched the progress of events closely. When it was decided to construct the Great Trans-Continental Line by way of Cheyenne leaving Colorado to the south without connection with the outside world, despair took possession of all classes. In time, however, the bolder spirits recovered their courage and an earnest effort was made to protect the interests of the people of the Territory. The organization of the Denver Pacific Railway and Telegraph Company followed a period of earnest agitation and discussion. The officers of this Company were John Evans, President; John Pierce, Vice President; R.R. McCormic, Sect'y.; D.H. Moffit, Jr., Treasurer; and Col. L.H. Eicholtz, Chief Engineer. These gentlemen promptly undertook the construction of a line from Denver to Cheyenne to connect with the Union Pacific and from Denver east to meet the Kansas Pacific line that was being extended westward. As a result of their efforts the Denver Pacific was completed between Cheyenne and Denver June 24th, 1870. The Kansas Pacific was completed on August 15th, 1870 by laying ten and a quarter miles of track in ten hours; five and an eighth miles being laid by each of two forces, one working eastward and one westward.

NCH Announcements Lessons from a Candidate Who Sought to End Poverty By Michael Stoops** Nearly forty years ago in 1968 this country lost a great American, Upton Sinclair, who had a profound impact forwarding social justice in the United States. He first came to national attention with the book, The Jungle, published in 1906 which exposed unsafe practices of the meatpacking industry in Chicago. Not as well known was Upton Sinclair’s effort to be elected as a U.S. Senator and Governor of California. As a socialist, he ran for a U.S. Senate seat in California in 1922 and got 50,323 votes. He ran for Governor in 1930 and got 50,480. He described that as progress. In 1934, he switched parties and became a Democrat. He carried the Democratic primary with 436,000 votes, and winning by a margin of some 25,000 votes. In the general election, Sinclair received twice the number of votes of any previous Democratic candidate for governor of California up to that point.

The GG1 is C6. 2004 Lionel postwar 2560 crane car with cream cab, red roof and black boom, C6. 2005 Lionel postwar Five-Star Frontier Special outfit no. 2528WS including; 1872 General steam loco, 1872T W.& A.R.R. tender, 1877 horse car with six horses, 1876 baggage car and a 1875W illuminated passenger car with whistle. The ornamental whistle on the engine is broken and the piping detail on the hand rails is broken. Engine is C6.
