Of the associated entomofauna phytophagous beetles (Coleoptera) of various taxonomic groups adapted their life history to this ancient host tree. This occurred either already before the late Gondwanian interruption of the previously joint Araucaria distribution or only later in the already geographically separated populations. A bibliographic survey of the eastern and western coleopterans recorded on Araucaria trees resulted in well over 200 species belonging to 17 families. These studies include records of beetles living on 12 of the 19 extant Araucaria species. Their occurrence and adaptations to the host trees are discussed under aspects of evolution and co- speciation. In this study, two new genera of Desmiphorini (Lamiinae) are proposed: Cleidaria gen. nov., to include Cleidaria cleidae sp. nov. from the state of Chiapas in Mexico, and Obscenoides gen. nov. for Desmiphora (D.) compta Martins & Galileo, 2005. The shape of tarsal claws of Cleidaria cleidae sp. nov. (abruptly narrowed from basal half) is so far, not found in any current genera of the tribe. With respect to Obscenoides compta (Martins & Galileo, 2005) comb. nov., the genitalia of males have an unusual shape with non-retractile parameres. The character combination related to this genital structure is unknown to us in other species in the family, and hypotheses about its function are suggested. Key-Words. Submission of Manuscripts: Works published or under consideration elsewhere (including on the internet) will not be accepted. At first submission, one double spaced hard copy (text and tables) with figures (may not be original) must be sent to the Editors, Dr. Hüseyin Özdikmen for publication in MEZ. Resumo Holdefer DR, Garcia FRM. 2015. Análise faunística de cerambicídeos (Coleoptera, Cerambycidae) em floresta subtropical úmida brasileira. Entomotropica 30(13): 118-134. O trabalho objetivou caracterizar a assembleia de cerambicídeos presente em fragmento de Floresta Subtropical Úmida do sul brasileiro, através de análise faunística, e dos índices de diversidade. Também comparar a eficiência de amostragem dos modelos de armadilha Malaise e armadilha atrativa. No fragmento as armadilhas foram distribuídas na área central e de borda, entre outubro 2005/outubro 2006. Amostrou-se 63 espécies distribuídas em Cerambycinae (S = 28) e Lamiinae (S= 35). Verificou-se a presença de 37 espécies raras, pouco frequentes, acidentais e não dominantes e quatro predominantes: Nyssodrysina lignaria, Eurysthea lacordairei, Chydarteres dimidiatus dimidiatus e Batus hirticornis. A Malaise amostrou maior riqueza, enquanto a atrativa foi mais equitativa. A assembleia de cerambicídeos, através do grande número de espécies raras, baixa constância e dominância, apresentou-se rica e diversa dentro do fragmento em sucessão. -

Until now, Pectino- callimus was known only from the single male holotype of the type-species, P. sericeus NIISATO, 1989 from northern Borneo. The present discovery not only enlarges the genus with a new distribution in the Malay Peninsula but it facilitates also a first observation of female representative of the genus, and thus enables a better understanding of its systematic position. The genus is transferred from the Stenopterini to the Psebiini. Introduction The genus Pectinocallimus NIISATO is a very unique brachelytrous longhorn beetle in having pectinate male antenna. It was provisionally placed in the Stenopterini on account of a combination of the reduced elytra and the characteristics of wing venation (NIISATO, 1989). So far, only the single male holotype of the type-species, P. sericeus NIISATO collected from the Crocker Range in northern Borneo has been known. Discovery of further specimens of this less known genus, those of female in particular, has been long expected since about twenty years after the first discovery. Mr. Shinichi BEFU fortunately found three specimens of the genus in total during his residence in Malaysia from 2006 to 2010. These specimens emerged out from dead branches of Lauraceae origi- nated from two different localities in the central mountains of the Malay Peninsula.
