The Building

Ex Libris is the Latin expression that literally means "from the Books of". The name of this building does not negate the tradition of this street, which connects Luís de Camões Square to Largo Trindade Coelho, in , already communicating with the typical Bairro Alto. Literary and journalistic activity has always been a stronghold of this artery and the Ex Libris building is proof of this, having been the headquarters of The Illustrated Diary, suspended in 1956, and home of the Camões Bookstore. With a great location this building is in the center of the action where there is always something going on. At any time you can go out and walk in Chiado or even go to where you will find the most luxurious shops, as well as discovering that you are within walking distance of the trendy bars and restaurants in the city
