Limited Slip Studios

US After a decade+ experiencing limits on creativity, crunch and failed projects fueled by poor management, followed by unprecedented layoffs in industry and the shattering of amazing teams, we finally had enough. We wanted to form a tight-knit team of creative professionals with diverse experience, skills and talent, built on mutual trust/respect, with a love of games/art/animation/ technology. So we did just that. Limited Slip Studios is a reliably strong and veteran team. And this age and experience comes at a slightly higher overhead. We offset this with speed and diligence: doing things right the first time and being sure to never miss a deadline (we usually beat it), go over budget, or fail to execute a visual bar. A model cost effective and still top notch.

GOALS One of the main reasons we chose to be a vendor versus a developer is that we get to work on many and diverse projects - exposing us to a wider range of tech, method and PEOPLE than we would in-house. Also, our ‘growth’ was never about becoming a 100 man+ studio. For us it was always about controlling our own destiny, and crafting a studio experience so capable that it could take on anything. Kevin Wright: Studio Head (Planetside, Counterstrike:CZ, LOTR:TT, AfterBurner: Black Falcon, Drawn to Life: the Next Chapter) My role is to seek/maintain relationships and ensure our teams have everything they need to execute. With over a decade in Art/Animation Direction, I am also steward of big picture results and aesthetic vision.

Chris Santangelo: Technical Designer & Director (NAVAIR: EHF FOT & SCSS (Submarine Comms), WLCTT (Weapon Launch Control), CSRR, BLQ-10, GE-CT) Chris is our curator of tech, making sure we evolve/adopt the right tools/process, and maintain our server and enterprise solutions. His background is in Director & Lead roles supporting Art/Design/UX/Tech in Game/Interactive/Simulation.

Brad Garneau: Principal Artist and Production Guru (Ultima: Samurai & Mondains Legacy, Command and Conquer: Renegade, Epic Mickey, Project Overkill) Brad champions our production in the trenches- mentoring on work-flow and technique to ensure standards for quality, consistency and time. He comes with a background in Lead & Senior roles in Art & Design for Games/Interactive/Comics.

Kaj Swift: Production Operations Director (Dance Central 3, Golden Axe: Beast Rider, Iron Man, NBA 2k1/2/3, NHL, NFL 2k) A seasoned industry veteran with 15+ years’ expertise and 14+ shipped AAA titles, Kaj brings extensive experience in building & leading highly talented/effective internal /external teams, Proven organizational/project skills (Agile, Waterfall, Kanban and Hybrid) and a reputation for meeting or beating deadlines/budgets.

Sandi Hulon: Producer -PA ("Budweiser-Frog" &" Energizer-Bunny" campaigns; managed budgets up to $10mil for clients like Timex, Toyota, Exxon) Sandi Brings 20+ years of progressive film, video production and post-production experience. Influential and persuasive with ability to build trust, rapport, and profitable creative partnerships.
