Conference Dinner
The conference dinner is scheduled for 7 September 2011, 20:00 at the traditional Bavarian Restaurant Hofbräukeller. Doors will be open from 19:30.
To reach the Hofbräukeller from the conference venue, use subway lines U4/U5 at Karlsplatz/Stachus near the Künstlerhaus (direction Arabellapark/Neuperlach Süd) and get off at Max-Weber-Platz.
You may alternatively take the streetcar (“Tram”) line 17 at Lenbachplatz (direction Effnerplatz) up to Maxmonument and change to streetcar line 19 (direction Max-Weber-Platz/St. Veit-Straße). Get off at Max-Weber-Platz. Please note that streetcar line 19 would take you directly from Karlsplatz/Stachus to Max-Weber-Platz, but currently terminates at Maxmonument due to major construction works.
The streetcar takes you on a scenic ride, passing by the National Theatre (Nationaltheater), along the famous shopping street Theatinerstraße, Hofbräukeller München the Maxmonument, and the Bavarian parliament (Maximilianeum). Innere Wiener Straße 19 81667 München - 19 - - 20 -
