Jewels of First Century History © Copyright 2021 by Steven C. Buren from “ Revealing Bible Mysteries .” The Pharisee Doctrine of the Canaanites is well stated, as Herod’s Priests and Lawyers of this Doctrine were described as snakes and vipers when they confronted the Messiah. (Matt 3:7, 12:34, 23:33, Luke 3:7 ) It is not an anomaly that Paul repeatedly announced his nobility as a Pharisee and a Roman, schooled at the Cesarean College. The only times the Apostles and their supporters were persecuted; is when Paul was near & focused on them. (Acts 9:30-31, 11:29-12:3, 15:2 and many others ) How could all atrocities occur by the Roman Army and Pharisee Priests doing the bidding of Barnabas and Paul; and how did they acquire such political influence? Paul was the son of Herod Antipas and Herodias , and the stepson of Herod Philip . Herodias married Philip to remain as Queen, when Antipas was exiled for insufficient tribute to Caesar. Therefore, when Paul speaks of the “laws of his fathers”, he is speaking of the two Pharisee Herod Kings loyal to Caesar, and not dedication to the laws of Moses. Barnabas was the son of Prince of Syria & Cypros , the daughter of Herod the Great’s sister Cypros. (Acts 4:36 ) Agrippa was the brother of Herodias, & nurtured in Rome with Caligula, not speaking the Hebrew language. When Herods’ Philip & Antipas were at war over Herodias, they used Roman & Syrian troops in disputes. So Caesar Caligula took Philip’s head & anointed Agrippa. They replaced all Temple Priests with Greek Pharisees of Alexandria, & Barnabas was interpreter to Agrippa , who died on Day of Atonement, when advised to declare that he is immortal. Then pretending as a magician, Simon-Barnabas procured Agrippa’s daughter Drusilla as wife to Governor Felix. They & Agrippa-II were present as Paul asked to see Caesar. (Antiquities 20.7.2, Acts 8:9-24, 12:21, 24:24 ) Many of these components of history are collected by following the family trees of essential patriarchs. Also, in many places of the Bible where the stories are focused to conclude a point, you must re-interpret the passages of original Greek New Testament. A deception by the silencing of essentials is often repeated even in recent translations. The original first century and earlier authors are still the reliable sources. Our doctrines and twisted perceptions have masked many of the key points of the First Century. Here is an example of a Hidden Key, Re-Translated Peter’s Warning of Paul; 2-Peter 3:15 -17 (comprehensive from the original Greek) 15 Also consider the patience our Master delivered. Both (epistles) of beloved brother Paulus also concerning that of wisdom shown him written to you. 16 While also in all epistles speaking for himself, against these things which are some hard to understand. Which the unlearned and unstable twist, as also the remaining scriptures unto their own destruction. 17 Ye therefore beloved, foresee and beware, lest led by deceit of his wickedness, fall from your stability.
