A Europeanised Contest Les Cahiers européens de Sciences Po. n° 02/2012 Décembre 2012 RENAUD DEHOUSSE & ANGELA TACEA The French 2012 Presidential Election A Europeanised Contest Renaud Dehousse holds a Jean Monnet Chair in European Union Law and Politics at Sciences Po, Paris, where he directs the Centre d'études européennes. He has published extensively on the institutions and political system of the European Union, and on EU public policy. He is advisor at Notre Europe and has participated in a number of high-level groups on the reform of European institutions set up by the European Commission and the French government. Contact:
[email protected] Angela Tacea is a PhD candidate at the Centre d'études européennes, Sciences Po (Paris). She is currently working on two projects “The Law Factory”, financed by Ile de France Region and OPAL (the Observatory of National Parliaments after Lisbon), financed by ANR.
