The goal of the program is to help individuals reflect on what their wishes would be if for any reason they are not able to speak for themselves in a life threatening situation. Several members of the community have received training to help facilitate conversations between family members and loved ones. The morning's sermons at the 9:00am and 9:45am minyanim will address this theme. Hot kiddush following services will afford all of us the opportunity to continue discussing these thought provoking issues. We look forward to seeing you next Shabbat! Monday, January 30 • 6:30pm • Hebrew Reading Crash Course Levels I & II Level I is designed for Jews who have little to no background in Hebrew and focuses on teaching the Hebrew alphabet and reading skills. Level II is a follow up class for the “graduates” of Level I, who can recognize the Hebrew alphabet and wish to advance their Hebrew reading and comprehension skills. Both courses are five 1.5 hour weekly sessions.
