GETTING STARTED 1) Have you ever wanted to be a superhero? If so, who and why? If not, why not? 2) If you were in Abraham’s sandals, how do you think you would react to God’s call for your life? Explain your answer. 3) Is there anything in this week’s message that caught your attention, challenged you or confused you?

DIGGING DEEPER 1. What does having a personal relationship with God have to do with being all in and following God’s call for your life? 2. When Abraham heard God’s plan he chose faith over feelings and logic. Where are you at when it comes to faith, feelings and logic? What do you typically base your decisions on? What have you seen as a result? 3. In your opinion, is it ok to question God? Read Psalm 13. What do you notice about David’s questions and the rest of the Psalm. What does this teach us about questioning God? 4. Abraham made some mistakes as he waited on God, but God still fulfilled His promise to him. How does that make you feel to know that God’s plan is bigger than your mistakes? Share an example of this from your life. 5. After God gave Abraham a son fulfilling His promise, God tested him and asked him to sacrifice Isaac. Why do you think God would ask Abraham for this after going through all that he did already? What can we learn and apply to our lives with Abraham’s example?

TAKE AWAY

1. Abraham going on all for God’s plan brought Jesus, the Savior of the world. Imagine if Abraham would’ve said no. What is God calling you to do? What might be the consequences of saying yes? What about saying no? 2. How can people be praying for you this week?
