The firms registered with NSIC/MSME will be exempted from payment of Bid Security. 1.4 The offer (both Techno-Commercial & Price) must be valid for a minimum of 120 days from the last date of submission of offer; otherwise the offer shall be rejected as non- responsive. 1.5 Biding is open to all eligible bidders meeting the eligibility criteria as defined in Clause No. 2.2 of instructions to Bidders. Bidders are advised to note the minimum qualification criteria specified below to qualify for the award of the contract. (a) i) Average annual financial turnover of the firm during the last three years ending 31.03.2019 should not be less than Rs. 33 Lakhs. ii) Experience of having successfully completed similar works during last 7 years ending March – 2019 should be either of the following i. Three completed similar works each costing not less than Rs. 44 Lakhs or ii. Two completed similar works each costing not less than Rs. 55 Lakhs or iii. One completed similar work costing not less than Rs. 88 Lakhs. “Similar Works” i. Providing, laying, jointing of sewer appurtenances of any material or nature ii. Construction/O&M of Sewage Treatment Plants (STP) /Common Effluent treatment plants (CETP)/ Effluent Treatment plants (ETP)] Note: If the tenderer submits work orders containing combination of different works, then the relevant portion of the order (i.e.) order value related to the similar works only will be taken for evaluation purpose of the “Eligibility Criteria” The bidders should enclose the work order and completion certificate and other valid documents to substantiate their eligibility criteria and income tax returns along with profit and loss account statement and financial statement for substantiate the financial turnover. Otherwise, the bid will be summarily rejected. 5 1.6 The Employer / Board do not bind themselves to accept the lowest or any tender and reserve the right to accept any tender in part or to reject any tender without assigning any reason therefore. 1.7 Pre-bid meeting will be held with the representative of the firms. The prospective tenderer shall submit their queries in writing to Deputy General Manager (C) in connection with this tender well in advance, so that the queries can be attended to. The Pre-bid meeting will be held on 03.07.2020, 11.00Hrs at Kamarajar Port Limited, Vallur (Post), Chennai – 600 120. 1.8 The due date of submission of offers will be 16.07.2020 at 15.00HRS, unless otherwise notified. In the event of changes in the schedules, the Kamarajar Port Limited will notify the same through its web site only. 1.9 If the offers are not received according to the instructions detailed here above, they shall be liable for rejection. In Nuclear Power generation,Unit 1 of the Kudankulam Nuclear Power Project-1 (KKNPP-1) of 1000 MWe commenced commercial operation on December 31, 2014. With this, the total number of operating power reactors is 20 with an installed capacity of 5680MWe. The second Unit, KKNPP – 2 is also in advanced stage of commissioning. During the calendar year 2014 the highest ever generation of 37146 MUs was recorded which is 10% higher than last year's generation. The Rajasthan Atomic Power Station (RAPS)-5 recorded a continuous run of 765 days which is the best in Asia and the second best in the world. Consent of the Haryana State Pollution Control Board (HSPCB) was obtained in October 2014 to establish the Gorakhpur AnuVidyutPariyojanaHarayana (GHAVP) Units-1&2 (2x700 MWe PHWRs). In the area of uranium exploration, over 16,535 tonnes of additional Uranium Oxide (U3O8) reserves have been established in Andhra Pradesh, Meghalaya and Jharkhand during the year thus taking the country's uranium resources to over 2, 14,158 tonnes of U3O8. The Tummalapalle uranium project is readying for commissioning in 2015-16. The mine has achieved the desired ore production capacity and adequate ore has been stockpiled.

Introduction Kamarajar Port Limited (KPL) (erstwhile Ennore Port Limited), the 12th Major Port under Ministry of Shipping, Government of India is situated in the east coast and 24km North of Chennai Port. The Port which was looked upon initially as a mono commodity coal port dedicated to handling Thermal Coal requirements of Tamilnadu Generation and Distribution Corporation Limited (TANGEDCO) formerly Tamilnadu Electricity Board (TNEB), has over the period developed as a multi cargo port. It has a distinction of being the only corporate port amongst the Major Ports administered by the Central Government and commenced operations from June 2001. The Port was started in 2001 to serve the coal requirements of thermal power plants of TNEB and has over the period developed as a multi cargo port with present capacity of 36 Million Tons of dry bulk, break bulk & liquid bulk, 800,000 TEUs of Container and 250,000 numbers of automobile. 2. Port Management Model In a radical departure from the prevalent practice of declaring the newly developed major ports as Major Port Trusts under the Major Port Trusts Act, 1963, the Govt of India (GOI) decided to establish the new port of Ennore as a separate autonomous entity in line with the liberalized economic process launched by it. Accordingly Ennore Port was incorporated as a company in October, 1999 under the Indian Companies Act, 1956 and is come to be known as Ennore Port Limited (EPL).
