Cultural Resources Inventory Report for the Mojave Booster Station Project MANAGEMENT SUMMARY A cultural resources investigation was conducted for a 0.923-acre Project Area in San Bernardino County, California. The study was conducted at the request of Golden State Water Company for the Mojave Booster Station Project. The study was completed by ECORP Consulting, Inc. (ECORP) in compliance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). The inventory included a records search, literature review, and field survey. In January 2019, a cultural resources records search was conducted at the South Central Coastal Information Center (SCCIC) at California State University, Fullerton; in addition, a search of the Sacred Lands File was requested from the Native American Heritage Commission (NAHC). The records search results indicated that no previous cultural resources studies have been conducted within the Project Area.

    NEW ISSUE -- FULL BOOK-ENTRY RATING: Moody’s: “Aa3” See “RATING” herein In the opinion of Bowie, Arneson, Wiles & Giannone, Newport Beach, California, Bond Counsel, subject, however, to certain qualifications described herein, under existing laws, rulings and court decisions, and assuming, among other matters, the accuracy of certain representations and compliance with certain covenants, interest on the Refunding Bonds is excluded from gross income for federal income tax purposes under Section 103 of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended (“Code”). In the further opinion of Bond Counsel, interest on the Refunding Bonds is not an item of tax preference for purposes of the federal alternative minimum tax imposed on individuals and corporations; however, Bond Counsel observes that such interest is included as an adjustment in the calculation of federal corporate alternative minimum taxable income and may therefore affect a corporation’s alternative minimum tax liabilities.
