Antes de qualquer cobrança: Estou no segundo período da faculdade (tenho que entregar um projeto editorial PRONTO daqui há 15 dias) e num estágio. Meu tempo para hoobies está curtíssimo, mas felizmente encontrei uma folguinha pra finalizar essa revista! Eis o segundo crossover do Dragon com o Superman, lançado nos EUA em 2002. Com Roteiro e Desenhos de Erik Larsen, Arte-Final de Al Gordon e capa do fodaçaralho Alex Ross (que fez sua pintura por cima de um desenho do Erik Larsen, por isso o Dragon ficou tão igual ao do Larsen!) Aqui está mais uma edição INÉDITA NO BRASIL: Superman & Savage Dragon: Chicago. Esta edição, apesar de ter sido lançada 3 anos depois do primeiro crossover, se passa ANTES do crossover "Metrópolis". Devo dizer que esta revista é uma das mais bem desenhadas pelo Larsen que eu já vi. Vale a pena conferir! Cronológicamente, ela entra exatamente entre a edição #34 e #35 da revista mensal do Dragon. No MESMO período em que o Hellboy aparece. Era aquela época em que o Cyberface estava definhando e tal. Dá pra encarar essa revista como uma "realidade alternativa" muito bacana. Abaixo, um breve resumo desta edição (contém SPOILERS! ): Ocorre um motim na penitenciária da ilha Stryker, onde um grande número de vilões do Superman acaba fugindo. De alguma forma esses vilões acabam indo para Chicago, onde acabam sendo abordados pelo super policial Savage Dragon, que acaba tomando uma surra dos vilões. Superman vai para Chicago à pedido do prefeito da cidade, onde encontra com Dragon, que não se mostra muito feliz com a presença do escoteirão. Dragon implica absurdamente com o Superman, e os dois só não caem na porrada por que o Superman é muito, muito paciente. Porém, infelizmente para o Dragon, os dois terão que unir suas forças para descobrir quem ou o que está por trás da fuga dos vilões de Metrópolis e em sua ida para Chicago. Após um enorme hiato, finalmente arranjei um tempo pra traduzir mais alguns scans do Dragon. E desta vez um scan mais que especial! Este é o primeiro crossover do Dragon com o Superman, lançado nos EUA em 1999. Com roteiro de Karl Kesel e arte de Jon Bogdanove: "Savage Dragon & Superman - Metrópolis" , edição lançada comemoração aos 4 anos da SoQuadrinhos! Parabéns nerds scanzeiros. Esta edição não é inédita no Brasil, uma versão oficial foi lançada em março de 2000 pela Editora Abril. Apesar de ser uma versão oficial a edição da abril possui uma coleção de erros toscos de tradução, como chamar a S.O.S. de SWAT, o nome do Fiend estar diferente da versão das revistas mensais do Dragon. (Nas mensais chamavam de "Capeta", nesta chamaram de "Demônio". Malditas traduções de nomes de personagens!) Ainda assim, é uma tradução feita por profissionais e muito provavelmente possui qualidade superior à um scan traduzido por um cara que atualmente anda muito ocupado.
