Parish Novena to St. Benedict Concludes this Week From Fr. Jeremy: I encourage all of us to pray the following novena from March 12 - 20, asking St. Benedict to pray for our parish and for each of us. The Solemnity of the Passing of St. Benedict is March 21:

Parish Novena to St. Benedict Holy Father St. Benedict, blessed by God in grace and in name, while standing in prayer with your hands raised to Heaven, you yielded your spirit into the hands of your Creator. Protect us as we approach this great Solemnity commemorating your holy death. Intercede for us that personally and as a parish we may grow in holiness and unity by preferring nothing to Christ, that the Lord would call many men and women from our parish to serve Him through the priesthood and the consecrated life, and that God may hear our own personal intentions. Fulfill your promise to defend us against the snares of the enemy, now and in the last struggle of death, as we daily remind you of your glorious departure and heavenly joys. By your holy blessing, protect us this day and every day that we may never be separated from our blessed Lord, from your company and the company of all the blessed. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Pray daily from March 12 through March 20.
