Years ago, Helena Artmann, the master brewer of our little brewery, got her Raw Food Chef certification from Pachavega Living Foods Education. Her son, Ian, participate in parts of the course. One year prior, Alex was working as a cook at a takeout counter in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn, she brought in some grapefruit-mint kombucha to her chef, who claimed to have bad memories of kombucha from her childhood, served to her by her holistically inclined mother.
