What is “ Grand Design” ?

Indicati ng the “General Direction” of Metropolitan Osaka Currently, Osaka has begun making significant moves supported by the private sector. By “Osaka Grand Design,” we will present to the world at large the future direction of Osaka, a lively prefecture that keeps on changing. Based on the “Future Vision–Osaka,” which shows the direction of the entire region of , we will show in a simple way an ideal image of the urban space of Metropolitan Osaka in 2050. Understanding the trend of population concentration in the world’s metropolitan areas, we will aim to create an attractive Metropolitan Osaka with an environment where creative people concentrate, and want to live, work, and enjoy themselves.
