After hosting a TV show for La Cinquième (ex-France 5) and editing a website about interactive fiction between 1999 and 2001, Voyelle spent 10 years in children’s television starting as a Production Assistant in a NYC animation studio. After her return to France, she spent five years at M6 as Programme Advisor and then as Head of Acquisitions and Development. She then joined France 3 as Deputy Head of children’s programmes. After the merge of the three youth departments (France 2, France 3 and France 5) she was promoted Head of new formats and new media in the youth and children’s department of France Télévisions. In 2011, she joined Boris Razon to help create and develop the digital storytelling and transmedia department of France Télévisions.

Japhet Asher Polarity Reversal {United Kingdom}

Japhet has created, produced and/or overseen content for Nickelodeon, Disney, CBBC, CBeebies, MTV, ABC, CBS, HBO, Fox, CANAL+ and more. He launched the CBBC and CBeebies YouTube channels and was in charge of digital content for CBBC during its most successful era to date. Japhet started out as a writer and documentary maker, making films for ABC, PBS and HBO. He went on to become a partner in the groundbreaking animation studio Colossal Pictures, which produced the very first MTV ID and made many more identity campaigns for most major kids and youth channels. Colossal is widely credited with turning broadcast graphics into interstitial entertainment, culminating in the TV series Japhet created for MTV and the BBC, “Liquid Television”. Maurice Wheeler The Little Big Partnership {United Kingdom}

As Founder and Strategy Partner at The Little Big Partnership, Maurice Wheeler has developed audience-led strategies that have solved problems such as: how are decisions made on what games console a family will buy; how can you get more kids to engage with the Premier League; what role social media plays in a mum’s purchasing process; what and how content can be used to reinforce brand stories. He has more than 19 years of marketing experience starting out in the classic agency environment of Leo Burnett before starting his own agency Doco (formerly Digital Outlook) in 1998, and then The Little Big Partnership in 2012. Wheeler has helped many clients including Nickelodeon, BBC, Disney, Microsoft, Google, Universal Music, Unilever and LEGO. He has written a number of papers on how to effectively engage with different audience types from kids to fathers to the family unit as a whole. Vanessa Chapman is an internationally respected media executive, whose 30 years in the sector has spanned all media platforms. With proven experience in content and business strategy; fundraising and investment, she heads up VJC Media, a creative and business agency that works with international broadcasters, media companies, brands and creators. She is a director of a number of companies and advises on content/strategy at Brighter Path which manages intellectual property, with especial focus on digital distribution/ e-commerce solutions. As award-winning journalist, Vanessa began her broadcasting career with the BBC before joining London Weekend Television (LWT), where she worked across multiple disciplines, including current affairs, popular factual, entertainment and youth programming. In the late 90’s, she was Controller of Children’s, Youth and Family Programmes for the ITV Network. She went on to help develop the strategy for The LEGO Company’s entry into the global television and movie business, subsequently being appointed Managing Director of the newly created TV and Film Company, Create TV and Film. Her credits at Create include the award-winning film/ multi-platform franchise “Bionicle” and popular pre-school show “Little Robots”. Christophe Erbes was born in 1963 in Paris and studied Mathematics, Telecommunications Science and Economics. After some scientific research in Montreal, he worked for CANAL+ International in Paris. He was then responsible for the kids and short films department at PREMIERE (now SKY Deutschland) in Hamburg before becoming Head of Programmes at S-RTL / Disney in Cologne. After being Deputy Managing Director and Head of Programmes of Nickelodeon Germany, he was Managing Director at Jetix (now Disney XD) in Madrid, London and Munich. He lives in Marcousin (Dordogne) and is an international Media Consultant focusing on children content strategies. He sits on few boards (Stuttgart Animation Festival, German Kids Film Association) and regularly hosts media festivals and podium discussions, organizing for kids channels worldwide the Global Kids Media Congress in Angoulême. He develops and writes for original and classic TV and film properties for children and, under his pseudonym Theo de Marcousin, he’s a successful kids books author: see on FaceBook – and maybe like?! – OSCAR & HOO.
