In the Year One Thousand Nine Hundred and Seventy-Three.

An Act providing for registration of a “classic motor ”.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

1 SECTION 1. Section 1 of chapter 90 of the General Laws, 2 as most recently amended by section 1 of chapter 732 of the 3 acts of 1972, is hereby further amended by adding the 4 following definition: 5 “Classic motor car,” anyone of the following motor vehicles:

1 SECTION 2. Chapter 90 of the General Laws is hereby 2 amended by striking out section 6A, as most recently amended by chapter 537 of the acts of 1966, and inserting in place 4 thereof the following section: - 5 Section 6A. Notwithstanding any contrary provision of law 6 registration plates of such size and design as may be deter- 7 mined in the discretion of the registrar of motor vehicles shall 8 be issued for antique motor cars and classic motor cars.

1 SECTION 3. Subdivision (7) of section 33 of chapter 90 of 2 the General Laws, as most recently amended by section 10 of 3 chapter 684 of the acts of 1972, is hereby further amended by

4 adding after the second paragraph the following paragraph: - 5 For the registration of every classic motor car, three dollars.
