Polizia Di Stato Europei Di Nuoto Polizia di Stato Europei di nuoto: bronzo per Orsi e Leonardi Dopo il fondo e il nuoto sincronizzato, ai Campionati europei di nuoto, in svolgimento a Berlino (Germania), sono iniziate le gare in piscina, e gli atleti delle Fiamme oro hanno incrementato il loro bottino di medaglie. Ieri pomeriggio, i velocisti cremisi Marco Orsi e Luca Leonardi, insieme agli azzurri Luca Dotto e Filippo Magnini, hanno portato la staffetta 4x100 stile libero alla conquista della medaglia di bronzo. Il quartetto azzurro ha concluso la gara in 3'12"78, dietro alla Francia (3'11"64), medaglia d'oro, e a soli 11 centesimi di secondo dall'argento vinto dalla squadra russa (3'12"67). La staffetta veloce italiana, con Marco Belotti al posto di Magnini, si era qualificata per la finale con il miglior tempo (3'14"38) della loro batteria. Parte bene l'Italia, puntando decisamente a una medaglia. Il primo frazionista è Luca Dotto, che conclude in testa la sua parte di fatica in 48"47, lasciando il testimone a Marco Orsi. Il portacolori delle Fiamme oro mantiene il comando della gara fino ai 150 metri, poi subisce la rimonta e il sorpasso della Francia, chiudendo i 48"36 e lasciando Luca Leonardi al secondo posto. Dopo 47"69 Luca arriva ai 300 metri nella stessa posizione, lasciando lo sprint finale e la lotta per la medaglia nelle braccia di Filippo Magnini, che finisce in 48"26, a un soffio dall'argento. Gli italiani hanno così mantenuto la tradizione che, dal 2000, con la sola eccezione del 2010, ha sempre visto la staffetta veloce sul podio continentale: argento nel 2000, bronzo nel 2002, oro nel 2004 e 2006, argento nel 2008 e 2012. Sono in gara 49 nazioni per un totale di 539 atleti (234 femmine e 305 maschi), 1.620 le presenze gara individuali e 117 le formazioni di staffetta iscritte, la nostra rappresentativa è la più numerosa (41 atleti), seguono Germania (38 atleti) e Russia (34 atleti). Per un eventuale primato del mondo è previsto un premio in denaro di 10.000 euro, la metà per un primato europeo, è in palio un montepremi di 220.000 euro per le 12 migliori prestazione tecniche maschili e femminili, l’atleta che otterrà la migliore prestazione assoluta riceverà ulteriori 20.000 euro. Giovambattista CRISCI is the Organizer of this important International Swimming event. On 22nd October 1975 he was member of State Police Force as Maresciallo, and together with Mr. Mussi, Mr. Lombardi and Mr. Femiano he took part to the action against terrorists and he was seriously injured to chest and abdomen. He has survived and since 1976 personally takes care organization of the above prestigious Swimming event.
