Attention

In accordance with Government guidelines and in the interest of everyone’s safety please follow the instruction below:

• Sign up to the NHS Track & Trace, download the app at: https://www.covid19.nhs.uk/ – it is mandatory for EVERYONE to sign in on every visit to the Racecourse and you will be requested to do this on arrival by our security team. The QR scanning code is also located at the kennels, Empress and Grace Stands and around the site • No Mingling - Owners can watch their dogs run but must obey Government guidelines and stick within their social bubble. Please ensure you stay in your groups of 6 and 2 meters apart from other groups. • As per GBGB guidelines Trainers & kennel hands must not mingle with owners and vice versa. These measures have been put in place to avoid a complete shutdown should a member of the public test positive for Covid-19. • Please do not come to the Racecourse if you feel or have Covid-19 symptoms, please stay at home. • Masks must be worn at all times. • There are separate areas on site for owners and trainers please follow the guidelines. • All visits are currently external areas only so please dress for the British weather! • All cars must be parked in the rear car park • Should an owner wish to see their dog run: 1. They must contact their trainer and give names and telephone numbers of those wishing to attend. 2. For syndicates 6 people per dog can attend. Covid-19 Code of Conduct

3. For other ownerships, 2 people per dog. 4. You must give your trainer 48 hour’s notice and your trainer MUST email all details to the racing office [email protected], at least 24 hours prior to the race. Without this information anyone not on the list will be turned away as per our council guidelines. 5. No one will be allowed to enter unless they have scanned the QR code, this is mandatory.

• Do use our sanitizing stations that are set around the buildings so that you can regularly wash your hands & sanitize • Follow the recommendations on site signposting & respect areas with restricted or limited access • Social distancing measures have been introduced to reduce contact – always keep 2 meters apart • Please respect our security & adhere to our regulations, they are there for your safety

Bidding to land back-to-back Category One competitions after success last month in the Coral Golden Sprint at Romford. This tight-railing speedster represents the champion trainer Patrick Janssens and is the only unbeaten finalist after impressive wins in heat and semi-final - including a sensational track record run two weeks ago when stopping the clock in 15.64sec. Lightly raced in Ireland under the name Foxwood Jon Jo, after switching kennels he reached the semi-finals of the Henlow Maiden Derby and has racked up a number of wins at Romford since. Trap 2 Mr Roo

Owners: Mr Tom Steadman & Mrs Natalie Steadman Trainer: Lee Field, Monmore

The most experienced finalist, boasting a brilliant strike-rate of 10 wins and 11 seconds from just 35 starts. Started out his career in graded company at Poole before switching kennels and making waves on the open race scene over two bends. Semi-finalist in the Coral Golden Sprint last month and has won races at Monmore, Romford and Nottingham. His sire, Hiya Butt, was a superstar over both two and four bends, while dam, Mrs Roo, was a runner- up in the Ladbrokes Golden Jacket. Two silver medals so far in this competition, but he is a tenacious tracker who battled hard to qualify after a moderate start in his semi-final. Hails from an ambitious and exciting kennel. Trap 3 Skipalong Sarge

Owners: Mr Andrew Moore & Mrs Elaine Moore Trainer: Patricia Cowdrill, Monmore

With six wins and five silver medals in just 15 career starts, this is an exciting and scopey sprinter open to plenty of improvement. Claimed the scalp of 2020 Sprinter of the Year Shrewd Call in the semi-final with his brilliant early pace and bravery at the corner. This October 18’ whelp and son of Scolari Me Daddy is the youngest of the six finalists. He battled hard to qualify after a rough ride at the first bend in his heat, before bouncing back with a smart win last week. Started his career over four bends in graded company at Monmore, before switching disciplines and is set for a bright future over these sharper trips. Northamptonshire Sprint Finalists

Trap 4 Knocknaseed Gem

Owners: Mr James O’Connell & Mr Thomas Purcell Trainer: John Mullins, Towcester

A five-time winner at Tralee before making the switch to the UK, this son of Australian sire Paddys Magic raced over four bends at Crayford and Romford before dropping back to sprinting. In just nine UK starts, he is a winner at Romford, Central Park and here last week in his semi-final with further improvement inevitable. Far from spectacular at the boxes, Knocknaseed Gem was able to assert into the first bend and was only half-a-length behind favourite Bockos Jon Jo on the clock at 15.88sec last week. His dam was very lightly raced and closely related to some smart stayers. This is an exciting type who we will likely see more of at Towcester with the kennel having recently switched from Yarmouth. Trap 5 Ballymac Micko

Owners: Mr William McMahon, Mr Gary Thompson & Mr Jim Reynolds Trainer: Jim Reynolds, Crayford A prolific performer with 10 wins from 22 UK starts. This son of former top sprinter Ballymac Best has wins on his cv at Romford, Monmore and Towcester - including two wins from his last three appearances. Performed brilliantly last year in the €20,000 Bar One Racing Irish Sprint Cup at Dundalk when finishing second to Grangeview Ten. A Coral Guys and Dolls finalist and and Golden Sprint semi-finalist in 2020. Litter brother to Champion Stakes winner, Irish Derby finalist and Shelbourne Park track record holder Pestana. Ballymac Micko is yet to explode from the boxes in this competition and possesses top- class pace to the bend. Trap 6 Shrewd Call

Owner: Miss Kelly Searle Trainer: David Mullins, Romford

Crowned 2020 Sprinter of the Year after successes in the Colossus Bets at Central Park, Coral Sprint Trophy at Hove and Greene King IPA Sprint Grand Final at Yarmouth. Yet to race from trap six, but boasts impressive wins at Romford, Central Park, Monmore, Yarmouth and Hove. He is by Cork track record breaker and Greyhound Derby finalist Ballymac Vic. Started out his racing career zipping through the grades at Romford over 400m and is another finalist who began in graded company over four bends before dropping back to sprinting. Chased home Bockos Jon Jo in the final of the Coral Golden Sprint last month after superb heat and semi-final wins. Race 10
