Robert joins the committee bringing a wealth of welfare, regulatory and licensing experience as Assistant Director of the City of London Corporation Animal Health and Welfare Team. Robert has also been a member and chair of various Local Government Association panels and Defra boards and is the local authority representative for both the Canine and Feline Sector Group and Companion Animal Sector Council. Madeleine is an experienced and highly qualified veterinary surgeon who is a Professor of Veterinary Ethics at the University of Nottingham and a Senior Lecturer in Ethics and Human: Animal Interactions at the Royal Veterinary College. She has extensive experience as Chair or member of numerous panels and working groups at institutions including the Royal Veterinary College, the Zoological Society of London and the British Veterinary Association. Madeleine has previously worked as a greyhound track vet and is a current member of the GBGB Disciplinary Committee. The Impartiality Committee is a key element of GBGB’s UKAS accreditation for the inspection and licensing of tracks. The committee, which comprises an independent group of individuals with relevant expertise, assesses and monitors the consistency and impartiality of GBGB’s track inspection and licensing activities. In taking up their places, Robert and Madeleine join current committee members Michael Elks (Chair) and Peter Laurie. Antony Collins stepped down as a member of the Impartiality Committee in 2020. We would like to thank Antony for his excellent contributions and support of the committee’s work. There are further historical factors that can be taken into consideration. No other venue like it in Oxfordshire no other stadiums offer these track sports Oxford Stadium has been great part in the lives of a significant number of people from Oxfordshire Oxford needs the stadium 241 Oxford Heritage Assets Register Keep the stadium as a multi-functional site, even some new venues would be welcome. Very valuable community asset for many years We think it should reopen for greyhound racing This stadium has so much heritage. Especially the speedway that oxford people have been supporting. I can’t comment on the accuracy of the report but it is well written and covers key events.

    Proudly sponsored by 2018-2019 GROUP RACE CALENDAR Message from Greyhound Clubs Australia Greyhound Clubs Australia (GCA) is an incorporated Association representing greyhound race clubs throughout Australia. In August 2017 after acquiring the assets of AGRA and its key responsibility of coordinating the Group Racing Calendar, the new-look organisation known as the GCA was formed. GCA’s aim is to provide a well-reasoned and united voice on behalf of clubs, both city and country, big or small, to media, controlling authorities and government on issues of importance. We want to influence chief decision makers in areas such as animal welfare, reform, track design and safety, marketing and communication, issues of the day, as well as improving the effectiveness of the Group Racing Calendar. In simple terms, GCA’s ambition is to make a positive difference towards the betterment of greyhound racing in everything we do. The Committee of Management of GCA has two delegates from each State, these being; Les Bein and Luke Gatehouse (Queensland) Brenton Scott and Geoff Rose (New South Wales) Denise Fysh and Richard Stamford (Tasmania) Des Dooley and Greg Miller (Victoria) Shaun Mathieson and Alan Amezdroz (South Australia) Dennis O’Brien and Noel Reilly (Western Australia) To follow is the 2018/19 GCA Calendar. 135 Events will be conducted over the forthcoming season. Participants are advised of changes to the nomination process for the 2018 Nationals. Participants are encouraged to ensure they have checked eligibility by July 26th.     FINAL ENVIRONMENTAL STATEMENT HUOO LAKE KIAMICHI RIVER, OKLAHOMA Prepared by TULSA DISTRICT, CORPS OF ENC,INKERS TULSA, OKLAHOMA February 1974 Statement of Findings Hugo Lake, Kiamichi River Basin, Oklahoma As Acting District Engineer, Tulsa District, Corps of Engineers, it is my duty in the role of responsible Federal Official to evaluate project data presented in the environmental statement, draw conclusions, and make recommendations to my higher authority. The overall public interest has been given the utmost consideration and personal concern in my review and evaluation of the documents concerning the proposed action, as well as the stated views of other interested agencies and the public, relative to the various alternatives in accomplishing the purposes of flood con­ trol, water supply, recreation, and fish and wildlife. Therefore, I have both a professional and personal concern in drawing the soundest possible conclusions from the studies, observations, and consultations made in the investigation of Hugo Lake. Project formulation studies for Hugo Lake occurred prior to the passage of the National Environmental Policy Act. During those studies public meetings, informal meetings, and workshops were conducted within the project area to determine public preferences, opinions, needs, and objectives. All project-related information derived from these meetings was carefully evaluated during plan formulation and was incorporated into the planning ana development of Hugo Lake for the total public interest. The construction of the project was 83 percent complete on 31 October 1973. A draft environmental statement was completed and released for review by other agencies, groups, and individuals on 21 September 1973. The final statement was then prepared utilizing comments received on the draft statement, technical assistance from the University of Oklahoma, and additional environmental studies by the Corps of Engineers.
