… UCCELLO DI FUOCO (L’) (balletto) Balletto in un atto e due scene, rappresentato per la prima volta il 25 giugno 1910 all'Opéra di Parigi. Fu uno dei cavalli di battaglia dei Balletti Russi di Djaghilev. La musica è di Igor' Stravinskij, la coreografia di Mikhail Fokine, le scene di Alexandre Golovine, i costumi di Leon Baste, la direzione di Gabriel Pierné. La partitura doveva essere scritta, in un primo tempo, da Liadov, ma egli desistette lasciando il posto a Stravinskij. In un primo tempo fu scritta a San Pietroburgo la partitura per pianoforte e in seguito venne orchestrata dal compositore nell'aprile del 1910. L'opera è dedicata a Nikolaj Andreevi č Rimskij-Korsakov. È il primo grande balletto del musicista russo, seguito di lì a poco da Petruška nel 1911 e da La sagra della primavera nel 1913, anch'essi commissionati da Diaghilev. Il balletto venne riscritto dallo stesso autore nel 1919 e poi nel 1945. Trama. La trama, ispirata a una fiaba russa, vede lo scontro tra due elementi antitetici: un mago immortale di nome Kašej, in grado di pietrificare gli esseri umani (simbolo del male), e un uccello di fuoco col potere di sfatare gli incantesimi del mago. Gli unici personaggi umani sono Ivan Zarevi č e la principessa prigioniera dell'orco. Ivan, grazie ad una piuma magica donatagli dall'Uccello di fuoco, riuscirà a liberare le principessa costringendo Kašej a danzare fino allo sfinimento. La fiaba. Nel giardino del mostro Kaschchei capita il principe Ivan mentre insegue un magico uccello dalle piume di fuoco. Il giovane riesce a catturarlo ma, dietro le preghiere dell’uccello e la promessa di aiuto, lo libera, ottenendo in cambio una piuma di fuoco. -

Piotr Mulawka Leksykon polskiej i światowej muzyki elektronicznej „Zrealizowano w ramach programu stypendialnego Ministra Kultury i Dziedzictwa Narodowego-Kultura w sieci” Wydawca: Piotr Mulawka [email protected] © 2020 Wszelkie prawa zastrzeżone ISBN 978-83-943331-4-0 2 Przedmowa Muzyka elektroniczna narodziła się w latach 50-tych XX wieku, a do jej powstania przyczyniły się zdobycze techniki z końca XIX wieku m.in. telefon- pierwsze urządzenie służące do przesyłania dźwięków na odległość (Aleksander Graham Bell), fonograf- pierwsze urządzenie zapisujące dźwięk (Thomas Alv Edison 1877), gramofon (Emile Berliner 1887). Jak podają źródła, w 1948 roku francuski badacz, kompozytor, akustyk Pierre Schaeffer (1910-1995) nagrał za pomocą mikrofonu dźwięki naturalne m.in. (śpiew ptaków, hałas uliczny, rozmowy) i próbował je przekształcać. Tak powstała muzyka nazwana konkretną (fr. musigue concrete). W tym samym roku wyemitował w radiu „Koncert szumów”. Jego najważniejszą kompozycją okazał się utwór pt. „Symphonie pour un homme seul” z 1950 roku. W kolejnych latach muzykę konkretną łączono z muzyką tradycyjną. Oto pionierzy tego eksperymentu: John Cage i Yannis Xenakis. Muzyka konkretna pojawiła się w kompozycji Rogera Watersa. Utwór ten trafił na ścieżkę dźwiękową do filmu „The Body” (1970). Grupa Beaver and Krause wprowadziła muzykę konkretną do utworu „Walking Green Algae Blues” z albumu „In A Wild Sanctuary” (1970), a zespół Pink Floyd w „Animals” (1977). Pierwsze próby tworzenia muzyki elektronicznej miały miejsce w Darmstadt (w Niemczech) na Międzynarodowych Kursach Nowej Muzyki w 1950 roku. W 1951 roku powstało pierwsze studio muzyki elektronicznej przy Rozgłośni Radia Zachodnioniemieckiego w Kolonii (NWDR- Nordwestdeutscher Rundfunk). Tu tworzyli: H. Eimert (Glockenspiel 1953), K. Die Zukunft der Science-Fiction in der digital-vernetzten, intermedialen Gesellschaft. 1 Michael Weisser Die Science-Fiction als literarische Fassung von menschlichen Schicksalen in denkbaren, wissenschaftlich-technisch geprägten Gesellschaften der Zukunft lebt nicht nur in den Medien Literatur und Film, sondern auch in der Musik und in der Bildenden Kunst. Welche Kräfte prägen die Science-Fiction? Wie ist das Verhältnis zwischen Autoren, Verlagen, Büchern, Lesern, Filmen, Grafik, Musik sowie Festivals, Kongressen, Auszeichnungen, Magazinen, Vereinen, Archiven und der Presse? Welche Ausstrahlung haben die Visionen, die im Genre SF in den Medien Wort, Bild und Klang artikuliert werden? Und wie prägt das neue Internet der Ansichten und Dinge die SF von heute in der digital-vernetzten Welt von morgen? “Why should I be studying for a future that soon may be no more, when no one is doing anything to save that future?” Aktuell geht es um keine geringere Frage als die nach dem Fortbestehen des Planeten Erde als Heimat von Mensch, Tier und Pflanze. En lo referente a la música, concretamente a la específica para cine, la proliferación de estos avances se ha hecho patente en la separación paulatina entre especialistas y en el aparente abandono de prácticas y áreas de estudio más ligadas a la tradición. En el presente Trabajo de Fin de Grado se pretende mostrar la creación y evolución del uso de la tecnología MIDI dentro del escenario de la composición, grabación y producción de una Banda Sonora Original. Se procura exponer a su vez las posibles consecuencias derivadas de esta tendencia en el papel desempeñado por las orquestas participantes de dicho contexto, así como especular, basándose en el estudio realizado, sobre el futuro de estos recursos humanos, técnicos y artísticos y sobre su cambiante relación. -
