Beta 1.2 is the third revision of the final major release of Super Smash Flash 2 Demo and followed the second beta phase of development. The difference from Beta 1.1 This demo has many differences from Beta 1.1, with the most notable being the addition of six new unlockable characters: Simon, Crystal, Rayman, Waluigi, Lucario, and Ryu. However, these characters, along with Sandbag and Pichu, will be available without having to be unlocked during this demo. As in others demo, many changes were also made to returning characters, including Kirby, Ness, and Sora, having brand new sprites. Several new stages have been added as well, including Venus Lighthouse, World that has never been, Sky Pillar, Krazoa Palace, Suzaku Castle, landfill zone, thousands of solar, and city champion. In addition to these, stages such as Mushroom Kingdom II and Nintendo 3DS received the scenic hazards they had before the removal in beta 1.0, and Central Highway received brand new sprites for its background. Smash Balls is back in the game again, bringing Final Smashes with them. Nagato, Riku, Bullet Bill, and Magnet Bomber were also added as relief trophies, and Wobbuffet was added as a Pokemon ball. This update also added a few new elements: The Sword of Blood, the Poison Bomb, the Screw Attack, the Trophy Stand, the Medusa Head, and the Item Bag. The Master Ball element has been updated to act similarly to the official Super Smash Bros. games, in which it releases rare Pokemon, and the Trophy Stand acts in a similar role to its previous role. Stamina was added as the new rule in group matches, replacing the injury with a set of 1 to 999 strike points. In addition, the All-Star has been added as a new Solo game mode in which the player fights with every character in the game, with the new All-Star Recreation Areas appearing between matches. Bonuses have been added among other changes to the Classic scoring system that are also present in the All-Star. The second level was added to Crystal Smash as well, and the targets in Stages 3 and 4 target Smash were changed to be more compatible with levels 1 and 2. Almost all the characters were given new, much less limited costumes; Each character's costume was changed to 12 costumes, including the default costume. The menu and all the UI elements received a visual update, including HUD, which also now displays player stock icons during stock matches. New visuals have been added for several occasions such as clanging, hitting an invincible enemy, charging smash attacks, and various attack trails. New sound effects and voice clips were also added, primarily for the fireworks item, and Pichu, respectively.
