Adresse mail : [email protected] REGLEMENT INTERIEUR DE L’ASSOCIATION DE RANDONNEES PEDESTRES ET D’ACTIONS SOCIALES DENOMMEE «JOUL O JOUD» JANVIER 2018 RÈGLEMENT INTERIEUR DE L’ASSOCIATION DE RANDONNEES PEDESTRES ET D’ACTIONS SOCIALES DENOMMÉE «JOUL O JOUD» ARTICLE 1 : OBJET DU RÈGLEMENT INTÉRIEUR Le présent Règlement Intérieur qui a été établi conformément au Statut de l’Association et ratifié par son Assemblée Générale, a pour objet de : § Compléter le Statut en donnant plus de précisions sur les conditions d’adhésion et sur les dispositions relatives à l’organisation, au déroulement, à la sécurité et à la discipline de ses activités ; § Rappeler aux membres leurs droits et leurs obligations afin d'organiser la vie de l’Association et ses activités dans les meilleures conditions et dans l'intérêt de tous. Tout membre doit en prendre connaissance et a l'obligation de s'y conformer. Dans le cas où une disposition ne serait pas prévue dans ce Règlement Intérieur, le Bureau Exécutif de l’Association est habilité à prendre la décision qui s’impose en attendant la tenue de l’Assemblée Générale pour trancher. Pour des besoins d’adaptation ou d'actualisation, ce Règlement pourra être modifié par l'Assemblée Générale sur proposition du Bureau Exécutif de l'Association, suivant la procédure décrite dans le Statut. Ces modifications et amendements ne doivent, en aucun cas, s’écarter des principes fondateurs de l'Association. Une fois modifié, une copie est transmise à l'ensemble des membres dans un délai de trente jours. ARTICLE 3 : BUTS DE L’ASSOCIATION Les principaux buts de cette Association bénévole, sans but lucratif, non gouvernementale et indépendante de toute appartenance politique, syndicale, confessionnelle ou autres, sont les suivants : § Vulgariser, promouvoir et développer les activités écotouristiques en particulier la randonnée pédestre sous toutes ses formes et ses variantes et dans tous les milieux naturels et pendant des durées allant de quelques heures à plusieurs jours (balade, asine, à dos de chameaux, équestre, à vélo, à ski, en raquette à neige, aquatique côtière ou de plongée, grandes randonnées, trekking, randonnée technique, randonnée en régions sèches et déserts, marche nordique, canyonisme, spéléologie, ….) ; § Faire découvrir les paysages naturels, le patrimoine culturel et historique, les uses, coutumes et les mœurs des populations locales, la faune et la flore de toutes les régions et de tous les milieux naturels, surtout les plus inaccessibles ; § Vulgariser et propager les techniques de pratique de randonnée pédestre (matériel, tenue, accessoires, orientation, préparation, règles de sécurité, secourisme, milieux naturels, …) ; § Concevoir et faire connaître les circuits de randonnée pédestre; § Former des animateurs de randonnées pédestres ; § Établir une base de données des destinations et circuits de randonnées pédestres ; § Établir une base de données des lieux d’hébergement (gîtes ruraux, chez l’habitant, …); § Établir un code d’éthique du randonneur, en faire sa promotion et veiller sur son application ; § Promouvoir des habitudes et des comportements sains et respectueux de l’environnement naturel et des populations rurales et de leurs biens ; § Mener des actions de sensibilisation sur l’importance du respect, de la protection et de la sauvegarde des milieux et des richesses naturelles ; § Favoriser la rencontre des milieux urbains et ruraux dans une approche d’échange ; § Nouer des liens, collaborer et développer des échanges, de savoir et de savoir-faire avec des Associations et organismes nationaux ou internationaux œuvrant dans le même domaine d’activité et ayant les mêmes objectifs ; § Partager l’information relative à l’activité de la randonnée pédestre ; § Organiser des manifestations sportives, culturelles et touristiques en lien avec l’activité de la randonnée pédestre ; § Encourager et encadrer les populations et les Associations locales à prendre part à certains aspects de l’organisation de la randonnée pédestre (formation de guides de montagne, balisage de circuits, aménagement de gites, développement de commerce répondant aux besoins spécifiques des randonneurs, développement du transport local par mulets, conception de plaquettes publicitaires sur les potentiels et richesses touristique des régions, …) ; § Contribuer au développement de l’économie locale en faisant bénéficier les populations rurales des retombées économiques directes ou indirectes que génèrent les randonnées pédestres ; Association «JOUL O JOUD», Route d'El Jadida - Quartier Lissasfa - Lotissement Diamant Vert, 3 Résidence Ichrak Centre, Immeuble 27, Bureau n°1, Casablanca 20230.     HAMISH BROWN Climbing in the Atlas Mountains A Survey (Plates 24-27) magine a country with eighty per cent sunshine throughout the year, I grand mountain scenery, its rock climbing potential barely touched, all within easy reach, with no political hassles orcostly fees, and a lovely people. It may sound too good to be true but it all exists in Europe's nearest truly exotic foreign country: Morocco. The Atlas Mountains, which sweep across from north-east to south-west, separating 'the desert and the sown', offer a climber's paradise. Quite why the Atlas has suffered neglect by climbers from Britain is hard to understand. Perhaps the names are too difficult - there's no kudos in reporting unpronounceable climbs - or the information is hidden away in French publications. 1 Time the cat escaped from out of the bag. I spent a winter in the Atlas in 1965 and repeated this delight in 1966. Having gone there specifically to climb (Notes in AJ 1966) I ended simply hooked on the whole Atlas ambience and began to wander rather than be restricted to one area. The natural outcome of this was an end-to-end trek 2 in 1995 : 96 days, 900 miles and about 30 peaks bagged. Farfrom rounding off my knowledge, the trip introduced me to a score of new worthy areas to visit and I've had five Atlas months every year since. 3 The scope for climbing is vast. The country must have 50 limestone gorges, miles long and up to 2000 feet deep, each ofwhich would fill volumes ofclimbs if located in Europe, while on the mountains there are crests to be traversed and notable granite faces still virgin.

PRESENTATION DU PARC NATIONAL DE TOUBKAL Créé par arrêté viziriel le 19 janvier 1942, suite à la tenue du 9ème Congrès de l’Institut des Hautes Etudes Marocaines, portant sur la haute montagne, en 1937, le Parc National de Toubkal (PNTb) est le 1er parc national à avoir vu le jour au Maroc. Il fut établi dans la région du Haut Atlas, une des régions les plus riches en biodiversité. Chevauchant sur trois provinces – Al Haouz, Taroudant et Ouarzazate – cette aire protégée est située à 75km au sud de la ville de Marrakech, entre la vallée de l’oued Ourika à l’Est et la vallée du N’Fis à l’Ouest. Le PNTb, proprement dit, s’étend sur une superficie de 38.000 ha, à laquelle s’ajoutent 62.000 ha de zone périphérique, proposée en 1996 dans le Plan Directeur d’Aménagement et de Gestion du parc. ' ome such text, read as a boy, was my first consciousness of the Atlas SMountains. In the mid-sixties I spent two winters in the High Atlas, encouraged by the enthusiastic reports of Tom Weir and Gavin Maxwell. We did quite a bit of climbing then (see Al71, 43-50 and 275-280, 1966) but climbing is perhaps the most neglected"aspect today when stereotyped winter ski-mountaineering and trekking account for most visitors, with the Toubkal trail suffering the main impact, as does the 'highest summit' of most countries. There is tremendous untouched potential for all facets of mountaineering, virtually year round, in an inexpensive country that is our nearest exotically different neighbour, with a delectable climate, good food, and delightful Berber mountain people. Having discovered this, an ever-growing group of us return, year after year, often for months together, and in 1995 we took this basic knowledge and continuing enthusiasm to its logical conclusion and made the longest complete traverse of the Atlas that we could devise. Far from being a climactic conclusion to our wanderings, this journey has fired in us a renewed desire for the 'wild and lovely places of the earth'. There were so many good places we only saw en passant. Another lifetime could be spent exploring the Atlas. More and more I try to divert people from the hackneyed, however good, to discover the particular magic of travelling through areas uncontaminated by the greyness of western culture and its crass materialism.

    Morocco - Toubkal in Winter TREK OVERVIEW Mt Toubkal, known locally as Jebel Toubkal stands 4167m above sea level and commands superb views of the High Atlas Mountains. Our route passes through remote villages that offer an insight into the life of the Berbers, a culture that has hardly changed for centuries. Following a careful progamme of acclimatization we aim to make an ascent of Ouanoukrim (4088m), Morocco’s second highest summit and Toubkal (4167m), the highest mountain in North Africa. The views across the Jebel Sahro and towards the Sahara are well worth the effort. Trip reports say “What a great trip!! You get the full hit of everything in Morocco; hustlers, markets, wacky spices, beautiful mountains, great food and really friendly people make it a trip to be remembered for a long time”. MOUNT TOUBKAL IN WINTER In the winter months Toubkal can offer brilliant clear blue skies with spectacular snow covered mountains extended towards the Sahara. It is a great location to develop your winter skills, put on crampons for the first time and learn to use an ice axe. The itinerary in winter is a little different to the summer one, but we spend time during the acclimatization period developing the essential skills required. All specialist equipment can be hired. Participation Statement Adventure Peaks recognises that climbing, hill walking and mountaineering are activities with a danger of personal injury or death.
