WSSSC serve as pilot for the recommendations, with reflection after 17-18 of our experience, and we field Qs from other commissions/councils throughout systems Would apply to anything we do or host throughout our system, meetings, conferences, professional developments

Toni: SDA program Seeking PT or stipend employment for their grad students 10-20 hours/wk, or 15/20 hour Good chance to diversify staff

Erin: WCTC Student Association They want to restructure, to look more like WSA (4 years), where they want to establish as non-profit, with SBCTC and CUSP rep CUSP has oversight, the new model would have rep on their board They looking to be more organized Bringing it to their general assembly soon to vote on it CUSP is trying to encourage them to talk to their constituents, their advisors, CUSP, etc. Key considerations for WSSSC members: They want a paid Exec Director All colleges pay S&A fees into the system Will take some time to implement

Jose: Be mindful of our topics for joint IC/WSSSC meeting  Toni recommended Rachel Alicia Griffin to do an Inclusive Excellence workshop with the group as a way to look at bigger picture/systemic issues to address together such as:  FERPA concerns in LMS, needing to separate sections to enable student protections  ID Macro collaborative issues
