These two administrative responsibilities at Hawassa university were never easy (and not common) at that very early stage of my career. But by the recommendation of the faculty of Science, Hawassa University had faith in and assigned me at these positions. Despite being first-timer to such chal- lenges, the feedbacks I got indicated that I did the jobs effectively until I resigned from both positions for other roles.
