    Strategy for export of Kosovo’s cultural assets Olta Andoni* I. Introduction Kosovo, the NEWBORN state, is enjoying its independence. The long dreamed aspirations are more than real for Kosovo right now. Looking forward to the future and being recognized by more countries is another “war” for Kosovo. Seeking new avenues in this direction is the key to the newest state in the world. However, the next “war” of Kosovo has to be a muted and psychological one. Whether it will be successful or not depends on a series of factors. Kosovo, as a new independent state, is more focused on working toward the accession by new states, neglecting the relevance of the arts and culture in the process. But no development is expected without the interplay of the culture. If culture is defined as the entire system of beliefs, practices and customs that exist in a society, it is the foundation that supports every development.1 Economic development without cultural roots will never be sustainable.2 Relying on the power of art and culture is crucial for Kosovo’s future.     TALKING WOMEN 1 When the EUSR gender team proposed me a plan to reach out to the people in Kosovo and discuss gender, I immediately liked the idea. In January 2019, I launched a series of debates under the title: EU Gender Talks: Because We Make a Difference. Inequalities between women and men in Kosovo are still prevalent. So, the purpose was to have monthly discussions on different topics in relation to gender, with the aim of Ambassador raising awareness, contribute to the Nataliya Apostolova change of mentalities and improve Head of the EU Office in Kosovo / EU Special Representative gender equality policies in Kosovo. One night, while coming back drunk from his bachelor party, Al commits a hit-and-run when he hits a man by accident and is urged to leave the scene of the crime by his two childhood friends who are with him in the car. The next day, gnawed by guilt, he decides to go to the hospital to inquire anonymously about his victim. What he does not know is that the entire accident was witnessed from a balcony by a young woman, Juliette, who is going through her own emotional upheavals. Juliette not only called 911, but also helped to contact the victim’s wife, Véra, a Moldovan illegal immigrant whom she decides to help and keep company at the hospital.
