2019 was another record-breaking, game-changing year for ASCAP members. Their evolved in magnificent ways, connecting, inspiring, lifting and healing us as only music can.

Here’s a back at some of our members’ most remarkable THE achievements from 2019 and the past decade - a small sampling of the milestones met by our global family of music creators. We’ve also GOLDEN highlighted six ASCAP members from throughout our repertory who experienced breakout years in 2019. The man with the biggest smile in hip-hop had a lot to smile about in 2019. After releasing 13 mixtapes in under four years, Charlotte, NC native DaBaby signed to Interscope in late January, and dropped his top 10 debut album in early March. The album spawned “Suge,” a trap banger that went double platinum, and netted DaBaby two A DECADE Grammy nominations.
