Grw. og det østligste Ærteholmene, 15°11'59". I det i tabellen opgivne areal er indbefattet alt land og alle inden for landets konturer værende søer og vandløb. Følgende søer måler over 1000ha hver: Arre sø, Esrum sø, Mos sø og Tis sø. Endvidere måler de inddæmmede fjorde Saltbæk vig og Stadil fjord over 1000 ha. ' Opgivelserne af kystlinien hidrører fra en i 1906 afsluttet planimetrisk opmåling. Landegrænsen mod Tyskland har en længde af 67,6 km. ' Her- lufsholm kommune er her medregnet under Sorø amt, se tabel 7, note 2. Tallene for de sønderjyske amter hviler på en i 1925 foretagen op- måling på de tyske målebordsblade. Landet er delt i 22 amter og 25 amtskommuner, idet der i hvert af amterne - København, Odense og Åbenrå-Sønderborg - er 2 amtskom- muner, mens der i de øvrige amter er een. Amtskommunen omfatter som hovedregel kun amtets sognekommuner; dog hører 3 bykommuner under amts- kommuner, nemlig Marstal handelsplads under Svendborg, Christiansfeld flække under Haderslev og Nordborg flække under Sønderborg amtskommune. De bornholmske købstæder er pr. I. april 1959 udskilt af Bornholms amtskommune. Herlufsholms sognekommune er som den eneste kommune i landet delt på 2 amter, se nærmere herom note 2, tabel 7. Rets- og politivæsen. Der er 2 landsretskredse, 15 nævningekredse, 103 retskredse og 73 politikredse. Østre landsretskreds omfatter øernes 47 retskredse og 37 politikredse, nemlig København, der udgør I retskreds og 1 politikreds, Sjælland i øvrigt med 28 og 21, Bornholm med 2 og 1, Lolland-Falster med 4 og 4 og Fyn med 12 og 10; endvidere er landsretskredsen delt i 9nævningekredse, hvoraf København udgør 1, Sjælland i øvrigt 4, Bornholm 1, Lolland-Falster 1 og Fyn 2. - Vestre landsretskreds omfatter Jylland og er delt i 56 retskredse og 36 politikredse samt i 6 nævningekredse. Lægekredse. Der findes (uden for København) 22 amtslægekredse. Amtslægekredsene er igen delt i lægekredse, i alt 67, hvoraf på Sjælland 17, på Bornholm 1, på Lolland-Falster 3, på Fyn 8, i Jylland 38. Udskrivningskredse. Der er 7 udskrivningskredse og 8 udskrivningsområder med i alt 2 097 lægder. I kirkelig henseende er der 10 stifter (97 provstier og 1341 pastorater). Arbejdstilsyn. Der er 28 kredse, nemlig: København og Frederiksberg 3, Sjælland og Lolland-Falster 7, Bornholm 1, Fyn 3 og Jylland 14. Tolddistrikter. Der er 3 overtoldinspektorater: Københavns (1 tolddistrikt), Østifternes (40 tolddistrikter) og Jyllands (37 tolddistrikter); i alt 78 told- distrikter. Civilforsvaret for købstæder og bymæssige bebyggelser uden for Storkøbenhavn omfatter 99 områder, jfr. Indenrigsministeriets bekendtgørelse nr. 236 af 28. maj 1951 med senere ændringer. Herunder købstadskommuner, Marstal handelsplads og de 5 sønderjyske flækker - Augustenborg, Christiansfeld, Højer, Løgumkloster og Nordborg; hver købstad udgør en selvstændig kommune, undtagen Allinge og Sandvig, der tilsammen udgør een. ' Iflg. lov af 31. marts 1953 om valg til folketinget. ' Til Frederiksborg amtskreds hører 1 kommune af Holbæk amt, til Ålborg amtskreds hører 1 kommune af Hjørring amt, til Thisted amt hører 1 kommune af Ringkøbing amt, til Ringkøbing amtskreds hører 3 kommuner af Viborg amt og til Vejle amtskreds 4 kommuner af Ribe amt.

Introduction Unemployment was high in Denmark during the 1980s and 90s, reaching a record level of 12.3% in 1994. Consequently, there was a perceived need for new actions and policies in the combat of unemployment, and a law Active Labour Market Policies (ALMPs) was enacted in 1994. The instated policy marked a dramatic regime change in the intensity of active labour market policies.     2004 NATIONAL REPORT TO THE EMCDDA by the Reitox National Focal Point Denmark New Development, Trends and In-Depth Information on Selected Issues REITOX Preface This annual report on the drugs situation in Denmark has been produced by the Danish ”Focal Point” under the National Board of Health. The report was prepared during the autumn of 2004 and is the ninth report submitted to the European Moni- toring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction (EMCDDA). The report is available in a Danish and an English version and has been prepared in accordance with the guidelines set out by the EMCDDA. The report provides a description of the drugs situation in Denmark. It is based on the most recent statistical and epidemiological data as well as current information on focus areas, projects, activities and strategies within drug prevention and treat- ment. In addition, the report contains descriptions of current legislation and policy within the drugs field. Today people are more inclined to separate their holidays into several sub-periods, giving them the opportunity for summer as well as winter breaks. When people are on holiday, they consume accommodation such as residential house nights, camping nights, hotel nights, etc. Therefore, a change in their preferences should be reflected in the seasonal pattern of the type of accommodation under consideration. In the present case, the seasonal variation of hotel nights in Denmark will be examined1. Such an analysis may be important for several reasons. Consider, as an example, the hotel demand for labour. During the peak season demand will be high, with an increasing wage rate, and off-season the unemployment rate will increase. In an economy with low mobility, and partly public financed unemployment benefits as is the case in Denmark, this situation is surely not optimal. Due to the lack of monthly labour market statistics for the sector, the presence of reliable monthly statistics on hotel nights provides the point of departure for the present analysis2. This change in the preferences of holiday makers has not only occurred for Danes, but throughout the world. Consequently, the data set used on hotel nights for Denmark is divided into 13 different nationalities.
