The part of Article 6 of the Charter of the Municipality of Bohinj (Official Gazette of Gorenjska, No. 5/95) which applies to the area which, with the implementation of the cited act, was no longer part of the Koprivnik-Gorjuše local community and was placed under Srednja Vas v Bohinju Local Community is abrogated. 2. Until the Charter of the Municipality of Bohinj sets out the division between the local communities cited in the first point of the holding, the implementation of the decisions adopted by these two communities is suspended insofar as it applies to the area cited in the first point of the holding. R e a s o n i n g: A. 1. The initiator, the Koprivnik-Gorjuše Local Community, contests Paragraph 2 of Article 6 of the Charter of the Municipality of Bohinj (hereinafter: the Charter), which determines the size of local communities in the municipality. It claims that this provision is contrary to Paragraph 1 of Article 18 of the Local Self-Government Act (Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia, Nos. 72/93, 6/94-CCDec, 45/94-CCDec, 57/94, 14/95 and 20/96-CCDec; hereinafter: the ZLS). The initiator alleges that the contested provisions determined the local communities' borders in the Municipality of Bohinj along the borders of the cadastral municipalities, when previously, in compliance with a 1976 ordinance, they were determined along the borders of settlements.

  • Mountain Biking Loop
............................................................ MOUNTAIN BIKING LOOP JULIANA BIKE IS PART OF THE SLOVENIAN MOUNTAIN BIKING ROUTE According to the example of the Slovenian Alpine Trail, the Alpine Association of Slovenia designed and opened the Slovenian Mountain Biking Route in 2O16, which with 18OO km in some way encircles Slovenia. The Julian Alps are also part of it and this new loop surrounds them as well. The stages of the Slovenian Mountain Biking Route that embrace our largest mountain range, are integrated in the Julian Alps protected area, i.e. UNESCO – Man and Biosphere, offering a unique opportunity that connects and creates a pan-Slovenian loop. Its route is practically identical to the Slovenian Mountain Biking Route, however, its starting and finishing stages have been relocated to populated places or tourist centres of the Julian Alps region. TRIGLAV NATIONAL PARK SLOVENIA Discover the beauties of nature and life in the Julian Alps walking the long-distance Juliana Trail or biking along the Juliana Bike Mountain Biking Loop. Now more than ever, the people of the Julian Alps and Triglav National Park connect and create a new sustainable green tourism future as the opportunity to preserve cultural and natural features of this fragile environment, where our ancestors have preserved and nurtured the balance between biodiversity and the way of life for centuries. RESPONSIBLE TOURISM IS NOW THE OPPORTUNITY OF OUR GENERATION. JULIANA BIKE MOUNTAIN BIKING LOOP Cyclists perceive nature and the landscape quite differently than hikers. Despite this, the circular mountain biking trail around the Julian Alps – Juliana Bike shares similar panoramas and views of life in the Julian Alps to the footpaths along the Juliana Trail.
