The DSG and her delegation emphasized the importance of achieving the Agenda 2030 and Building Back Better during the virtual Townhall. Mr. David Lamin of UNICEF represented the Federation of UN Staff Association in Sierra Leone (FUNSA), while all UN Staff in Sierra Leone joined virtually. FUNSA expressed appreciation and gratitude to the DSG and her delegation for embarking on a solidarity mission to Sierra Leone. FUNSA also mentioned the continuous commitment of UN staff/personnel in Sierra Leone to deliver on the achievement of SDGs, protect and save lives during emergencies like the COVID-19 pandemic.
