2020-2021 CATALOG 02 | 2020-2021 Catalog Welcome Woodburn Nursery & Azaleas Inc. truly values and appreciates each and every one of our customers. We are thankful for all of you and look forward to continuing our work with you in the future. Providing each of our customers with high quality plant material is always our goal. We are pleased to announce that we have hired Ken McVicker as our new sales manager. We welcome Ken to our team and are excited for what is to come. We continue to make strides toward evolving our efforts here as we move past the various challenges we have been presented with this past year. Our partnership with our customers is of top importance and priority for us. We continue to use new technologies to produce high quality material for you. The beneficial insect program here at the nursery continues to be refined. We are learning how to adapt to this new technology and improve our product because of it. Our team has worked hard to build a new sprayer (see on page 3). This helps us to do a more effective job of applying pesticides to our Pot N Pot. We have also ordered a new pruning machine to prune our Pot N Pot material. This will help us produce more consistent, quality plants. We are also currently in the process of building a new pruning machine to be used in our can yards and greenhouses, utilizing our forklifts and reducing labor needs in this area. Lastly, we are now accepting orders through the Excel format to help reduce order entry time by our staff so we can better serve your needs. Order forms can be accessed through our website: www.woodburnnursery.com Again, we want to thank you for your business and wish you continued prosperity in the future. The Fessler Family & Woodburn Nursery & Azaleas Staff In Loving Memory It is with heavy hearts that we continue to mourn the death of our co-founder, Jean Fessler, on December 22, 2019. We all miss her more than words can express. Jean was a mother and grandmother not only to her own family, but to our employees as well. We hope to continue on the good work she began with Bob over 51 years ago. www.woodburnnursery.com | 888-634-2232 | 503-63 4-2231 2020-2021 Catalog | 03 Important Dates 2020 2021 Early order entry deadline: Mid-Atlantic Nursery August 15, 2020 Trade Show (MANTS): January 6-8, 2021 Farwest Show: Has been cancelled this year NorCal Spring Trade Show: Fall acknowledgements will February 25, 2021 be completed by: October 15, 2020 Deadline for shipping spring The target date for completing orders: spring confirmations is May 15, 2021 December 2020 www.woodburnnursery.com | 888-634-2232 | 503-63 4-2231 04 | 2020-2021 Catalog Catalog and Program Information Order Forms: Our order form is available in Excel on our website: www.woodburnursery.com We encourage each of you to use this tool to place your orders.
