World’s oldest 32000 year old Idol of Lord Narsimha found in Germany

Many news about prehistoric founds and their possible meaning reached the world in the last decades. One of them, found in South Germany, puts scientist around the world in amazement. The centerpiece is the “lion man”, an idol that is made from the tusk of a mammoth in the form of a human body with a lion head. Amazingly it is dated back 32,000 years from now. The human soul longs for freedom. Freedom from everything including the fetters of the body and mind is Moksha. After all, the great Buddha noted that Desires are the root cause of Sorrow. The aim of Yoga and Tantra is also to make you rooted in yourself so that your desiring pattern of mind gets stilled and you move beyond mind. All that men do is for expansion and freedom. Why does a man run after money? That is because it gives him freedom of choice. There are techniques in Hindutva to enable you to go beyond yourself into the penultimate realms of freedom. Hindutva does not enslave. It empowers you to go beyond your limitations into the realms of pure freedom. Well, what you see as now caste is in a way an extension of tribe… but it is different too. Earlier, there were said to be four types of men 1. Brahmana (brainy character) 2. Kshatriya (warrior character 3. Vaishya (business character and 4. Shudra (labour character). Eventually, class degernated into caste. Today, caste is generally treated as an extension of family. Indigenously, it is called as jaat. Every Jaat has a leader who is generally called as a Swami. Swami means “Master of Oneself”. Of course, Caste is nothing but an extension of the family and family is nothing but an extension of the tribe. We are living in the age of individualism. As a man becomes intellectually advanced, he becomes an individualist. However, since the mass consciousness is still low, perhaps the family system will continue to stay. But ultimately, when a person’s consciousness flowers, he becomes an individualist. That is the way it is. Earlier, they were called as Sanyasis. Sanyasa combines two words – Nyasa and Sa. Nyasa means stability. So a Sanyasi means a person who is stable and rooted in himself. Application to collaboration challenges in work teams and business organisations In 2007, HR magazine highlighted the fact that the 21st century is likely to be the age of collaboration because many of today’s problems are complex, often demanding cross-disciplinary expertise. Leveraging Knowledge Blog states further that because knowledge is the most important asset today, this century has become the age of collaboration as a direct consequence of the knowledge economy that we live in. Strategic partnerships may optimise project management, enhance innovation, and ensure sustainable change. Despite these clear advantages, collaboration does not come easy for organisations and very few companies know how to collaborate internally and externally according to David Smith of Accenture. In this paper we will discuss how Advaita Vedanta — a Hindu philosophy of non-dualism — and Yoga Sutras of Patanjali can provide meaningful perspectives on collaboration and how they can be applied to teams and organisations. In addition, we will describe how these perspectives are grounded in brain science, and how combining the insights from brain science and Advaita Vedanta and Yoga Sutras provides unique strategies for collaboration. PREMISE How can a non-dualistic perspective be applied to increase ROI on collaboration? What are the brain mechanisms that support a non-dualistic perspective? How can this brain state of collaboration be achieved by managers? What is the relevance of this to the overall consciousness of the business? CORE CONCEPT Advaita Vedanta is the non-dualistic system of Vedanta expounded primarily by an 8th century Indian philosopher named Sankara. This philosophy rests on the tenet that non-duality does not mean the non-existence of a second thing, but its non-existence as other than yourself. In the collaboration context, this would imply the importance of being aware of the unifying principles underlying two parties coming together.
