THE MULTISEGUR VOLTA ALS PORTS D’ ANDORRA is a Cyclotourist march open to all federated and non-federated cyclists. It is a non-competitive test that will be always developed on roads open to traffic in general, so participants must take extreme precautions throughout the route, always respecting the traffic code. It is organized by the Agrupació Ciclista Andorrana and the company VSL Sports with the collaboration of Multisegur, Andorra Turisme, Vallnord, the Government of Andorra and all the municipalities of the parishes included in the circuit. In this new format, all participants will leave together for routes from La Massana, but only the climbs will count as timed sections. There will be 5 routes, the * star, the ** stars, the *** stars, the **** stars, and the ***** stars Each Star refers to a timed section, so you can choose the timed sections you want to tackle. The sum of the times of the timed sections will give you the final time of the classification according to the route you have chosen. The link sections do not have time or add up to the classification time, so you can enjoy the descent sections and refreshments without haste or stress as time will not be considered. What will be mandatory is to leave the starting point of the Plaça de les Fontetes de la Massana and finish at the arrival point in the Central Park of Andorra La Vella. We look forward to seeing you all! Organisation Km point Height Landmark Description 0 km 1.280 m We set off from the town center along with lovely music and surrounded by a crowd admiring our courage (or silliness). A kilometer-long uphill walk on asphalt takes us around Ordino and loosens up the group. We take a narrow uphill path to reach a 1,620 Ordino m height. A woodland path will take us down to a road we follow uphill. We leave the road again after 100 m to take a steep climb... we have managed the first 370 m of vertical climb. 4 km 1.650 m We can have a look at the village d'Ordino. We follow a wavy path until we come to a level area (the Sornàs ledge). We veer right into a steep woodland path that will take Camp del Remugat us to a 1,990 m pass. We are rewarded with a pleasant descent out of the ambush area and to l'Ensegur. 10 km 1.835 m The way follows a succession of level areas and arduous climbs to reach the Coll Ensegur d´Arenes, offering magnificent views on both sides. We follow the ridge for about 800 m until Ferreroles. We enjoy the view on the Estanyó lake below. 17 km 2.532 m Collada de Steep and demanding downhill climb around the lake, a small level area and we enter Ferreroles the woods. We follow the way, cross the river and take the short climb to the refuge. 21 Km 1.962 m Refreshment point.
