ADVANTAGES OF PURCHASING A 2020-21 SKI & BIKE PASS The 2020-21 Ski & Bike Season Pass is valid for 10 months of the year, from 28/11/2020 to 12/10/2021. It includes all the slopes and ski lifts of the Arinsal and Pal resorts in winter, as well as the Bike Park circuits and the ski lifts open during the summer (with access to the Mountain Bike UCI World Cup in 2021 and other events). The pass allows easier access to the Skimo and Snowshoe circuits during the winter and to different trekking routes during the summer by means of the Arinsal-Pal cable car, among others. By availing of the online advance sale of season passes at https://shop.vallnordpalarinsal.com/es/forfait-temporada.htmll, users will enjoy the best prices until 30th April or 15th September. Holders of the Ski & Bike Season Pass will also obtain numerous discounts and benefits when using the resort’s services (merchandising, restaurants, ski and snowboard schools, VIP parking, etc.) and those of other partner establishments (equipment sales and rental stores, other ski resorts, service stations, Caldea, Zero Latency RV, Coco Room, etc.) and many more. 3 2. TERMS AND CONDITIONS THAT APPLY TO THESE RATES Vallnord-Pal Arinsal rewards the loyalty of its customers and advanced bookings of the Ski & Bike Season Pass with more advantageous prices, depending on the type of pass and the date it is purchased. - 2.1 PAL ARINSAL SKI & BIKE SEASON PASS: For all newcomers who purchase the Vallnord-Pal Arinsal season pass to make the most of the skiing, the Bike days and the trekking. - 2.2 LOYAL CUSTOMER PAL ARINSAL SKI & BIKE SEASON PASS: For everyone who is already part of the Vallnord-Pal Arinsal family, having bought a season pass at least once during the last three years: 2017/18 or 2018/19 or 2019/20. - 2.3 ALT URGELL RESIDENT PAL ARINSAL SKI & BIKE SEASON PASS: Specially created for all residents of the municipalities of this county who can prove the above by means of a valid census certificate. - 2.4 FAMILY PACK PAL ARINSAL SKI & BIKE SEASON PASS: All families whose adults (at least one of them) purchased any of the three previous season passes can avail of this special promotion: PAL ARINSAL SKI & BIKE SEASON PASS, LOYAL CUSTOMER PAL ARINSAL SKI & BIKE SEASON PASS OR ALT URGELL RESIDENT PAL ARINSAL SKI & BIKE SEASON PASS. This consists of a special price of €75 per pass to all children between 6 and 15 years of age who are part of the same family unit (as direct descendants of at least one of the adults) and who can prove the above by means of the corresponding documents. Born between 2005 and 2014. - 2.5 ANDORRAN RESIDENT PAL ARINSAL SKI & BIKE SEASON PASS: For all users who live in any parish of the Principality of Andorra and can prove it by means of an Andorran passport or the corresponding valid residence card. Andorran or resident children are exempt from the Family Pack promotion. 4 In accordance with their year of birth, each user will be charged the rate corresponding to their age for the 2020/21 season, on presentation of an original official document (ID card, passport or Family Book) at the resort’s ticket office on collecting the pass: - CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 5: Born in or later than 2015 Younger children must apply directly for their season pass at the resort’s ticket office. This pass cannot be booked online. - CHILDREN’S RATE (6-15 YEARS OF AGE): Born between 2005 and 2014 - ADULT RATE (16-64 YEARS OF AGE): Born between 1956 and 2004 - OAP RATE (65-69 YEARS OF AGE): Born between 1951 and 1955 - OVER 70 YEARS OF AGE: Born in 1950 or earlier; they can obtain a ski pass free of charge on a daily basis, directly from the resort’s ticket office upon presentation of the corresponding supporting document. To avail of the Season Ski Pass they must visit the Ski Andorra offices (C. del Valira, 2 - Andorra la Vella) before 31st December 2020. 5 3. PRICES AND PROMOTION DATES Depending on the date on which the purchase of the 2020/21 Ski & Bike Season Pass becomes effective, the rates quoted will apply, taking into account the date of the booking and its full payment. (With no extensions, expansions or exceptions for any reason). 6 4. GENERAL CONDITIONS, GUARANTEES AND CANCELLATION POLICY The Bike & Ski Season Pass is owned by the operating company Estacions de Muntanya Arinsal Pal S.A.U. (EMAP SAU). Holders thereof are entitled to use all the slopes, circuits and ski lifts that are open and in operation at Pal Arinsal between 28/11/2020 and 12/10/2021. As the calendar is subject to meteorological conditions and inclement weather, EMAP SAU cannot be held liable for non-use of the pass due to adverse weather conditions. The season pass is personal and non-transferable and is subject to the law on ski resorts published in BOPA (Official Gazette of the Principality of Andorra) no. 75 of 06/12/2000. The resort reserves the right to instruct its duly accredited personnel to perform the necessary internal checks to verify the validity and ownership of each pass. Sale or transfer to a person other than the owner is prohibited. In such an event, the resort will immediately withdraw the pass, considering its use to be fraudulent and imposing a financial penalty of up to 50% of the total value thereof. The same will apply in the event of any forgery of or tampering with a pass. In both cases the resort will report it to the police. Any withdrawn pass will be retained by the Administration Department while all the necessary formalities are carried out and until the Customer Service Department has explained the events, the situation and any harm or loss to the original holder of the pass. In the event that a customer wishes to recover his/her pass, he/she must pay 50% of its value, as well as a penalty in the amount of twice the public price in force for a single-day pass or bike pass. EMAP SAU may deny access to the slopes, circuits and ski lifts, immediately withdraw the pass or prohibit its use by users who, because of their state or behaviour, endanger the safety of the facilities or the physical integrity of other users (article 33.2 of the Law on ski resorts and cable transport published in BOPA (Official Gazette of the Principality of Andorra) no. 75 of 06/12/2000 and other related laws in force during the current season). CANCELLATION GUARANTEE Vallnord-Pal Arinsal will not provide any economic compensation for the non-use of the pass for non-justifiable reasons, such as the purchaser’s free choice not to use it voluntarily, with the exception of customers of the Ski & Bike Season Pass who have signed the cancellation guarantee, which will allow them to obtain a full refund of the passes they have purchased, provided that they are effectively cancelled before 27/11/2020. The cost of the guarantee, 15 euros per pass and per person, will not be paid. COVID-19 COMPENSATION POLICY 7 EMAP SAU proposes coverage for all its season passes in the event of a further general lockdown of the country due to a resurgence of COVID-19*. This policy will only apply in the event that Vallnord-Val Arinsal has to close down due to a force majeure before the scheduled date (11th April 2021).
