FIBA LEVEL 1 approved removable area Elastic system wooden sport flooring in modular slabs, specifically designed for high-level competitions. The flooring is able to satisfy the most demanding of sports, optimizing sporting, technical and comfort needs.

The "male-female" interlocking system of the slabs is made even more effective by the innovative and special connecting elements made with a rubber and polyamide mixture, necessary to ensure the perfect connection between the panels. The 28 mm thick slabs are composed of a 4 mm layer of beech surface treatment with polyurethane varnish applied over a 24 mm backing layer of phenolic birch marine plywood. Adjustable cylindrical rubber supporting feet, 20 mm high, are placed beneath the phenolic plywood, which provides the system with a perfectly even elastic response. The tiles, thanks to a unique interlocking system that does not require additional fastening elements, is very easy and quick to assemble and disassemble: the time required to build a basketball court is estimated in 3 hours of work for a group of 6 people. The flooring tiles can be supplied on a special container suitable for transport and subsequent storage. The aluminium perimeter of the size of the field is included in the supply. The Fast Break System 2 Wood meets the requirements of the European standard EN 14904 and requirements of the International Sports Federations.

INSTALLATION

Indoor sport wood flooring system is a natural product that is completely installed on site. Therefore installation conditions are important factors to achieve the best final results. Before starting the installation, the facility must be completely closed (windows and doors already installed) and perfectly dry. The environmental temperature during installation (day and night) must be over 15º C and relative humidity must be between 45% and 60%. To properly maintain the sport wooden flooring system, the building must have an adequate air circulation and / or a ventilation system. Large windows, with direct sunlight over the wooden floor, must be covered. The same conditions as per installation apply. The environmental temperature (day and night) must be over 15º C at all times and relative humidity must be between 45% and 60%. The owner is responsible for ensuring these conditions by use of an environmental thermometer and a hygrometer for direct detection. The required conditions are indicated not only as desirable but as mandatory to be considered within the official warranty guidelines. For regular and special cleaning and maintenance of MONDO wooden systems it must exclude the use of scrubbers, single disc-machines, water jet, vacuum with a revolving brush and / or so-called liquid solutions.
