Results: Next Steps Cams Hill School Congratulations ongratulations on your GCSE results. No doubt there is a mixture of relief, excitement, and possibly shock as your school life comes to an end. What doesn’t end is our support to help you succeed in your next steps. If your grades are at or above what is Crequired for your next steps, then check the enrolment information you’ve been sent to ensure your place is secure. If your grades are lower than expected and not sufficient for your next steps, then your first action should be to contact the college/ provider and to discuss your grades with them in relation to the course you applied for. It is possible in these unique times, they may accept your grades or adjust your offer to suit them. Please contact them ASAP to discuss this. They will be busy and the sooner you make contact the more likely a positive result will be achieved. Bay House Sixth Form Has a PAN for Year 12 of 75, This Is the Figure For
Bay House School & Sixth Form Sixth Form Admissions Arrangements 2020-2021 These admission arrangements will apply to all ‘external’ admissions from 1 September 2020 including in year applications. Students will normally be admitted to year 12 at the age of 16. The GFM MAT Board of Trustees is committed to trying to ensure that admission arrangements will not disadvantage either directly or indirectly a student from a particular social, racial or faith group, or a student with disabilities or special educational needs & that other policies do not discourage students, or their carer(s)/parent(s), from applying for a place. Applications for places at Bay House Sixth Form are made directly to the Sixth Form via the link on the website. Normally, only students who meet the general minimum GCSE requirements and the specific requirements for the individual subjects to be studied will be admitted to the Bay House Sixth Form. {refer to FAQ} Priority is given to applicants joining the Sixth Form directly from year 11 at Bay House School. Any student whose Education, Health & Care Plan (EHCP) names the Sixth Form will be admitted, so long as the entry requirements and specific subject requirements to be studied are met. Should the number of admissions to year 12 (lower sixth) from students external to Bay House exceed the minimum PAN (Published Admission Numbers) of 150, the following over subscription criteria will be applied to prioritise admissions: a. August 2020 Devices and 4G Wireless Routers Data Contents Introduction 3 Progress data 4 Definitions 8 Data Quality 9 Get technology support for disadvantaged and vulnerable children and young people during the coronavirus (COVID-19) Introduction Laptops and tablets have been provided for disadvantaged and vulnerable families, children and young people who did not have access to them through another source, to enable access to remote education and social care services during the coronavirus (COVID-19). Laptops, tablets and 4G wireless routers were given to local authorities (LAs) and academy trusts (trusts), who will own the devices and distribute them to families, children and young people. LAs and trusts could receive digital devices for: • care leavers • children and young people aged 0 to 19, or young children’s families, with a social worker • disadvantaged year 10 pupils Internet access was also provided through 4G wireless routers for any of the following people who did not have it: • care leavers • secondary school pupils with a social worker • disadvantaged year 10 pupils The Department for Education ordered over 200,000 laptops and tablets and over 50,000 4G wireless routers based on its estimate of the number of children and young people in the eligible categories set out above. LAs and trusts were invited to forecast the number of devices they needed to support children and young people, who they were responsible for, in the eligible categories.
