The supplier receives these from the respective system suppliers at reference conditions specially agreed with Mercedes-Benz Customer Solutions. For this purpose, the supplier will contact the respective system supplier immediately after receiving an order. All order forms can be found in the document ordering documents system suppliers. The procurement of product packaging and accessories must never jeopardize the delivery date. 1.1 Product packaging (single/gift packaging) All collection items are to be packed in product packaging. A packaging unit normally contains an article. The product packaging is determined by the product management in accordance with the specifications below and the specifications provided and is released in the status report. You can find detailed information in our packaging manual. Logistics requirements: The packaging and its contents must survive the long logistics route without damage, so care must be taken to ensure adequate outer packaging and upholstery! The following examples can be set as product packaging: • Polybags Polybags must be closed in such a way that the item cannot fall out whilst being shipped to our customer. Depending on the product weight, a corresponding quality of the polybag is to be ensured so that it does not break. • Single/present packaging incl. watch packaging There are various types of single/present packaging: Which type of packaging is desired can be found in the product specifications. Furthermore, the packaging is available in three different qualities: Basic, Premium, Iconic Which quality is desired can be found in the product specifications. The supplement "1 set" is to be indicated on the product label here. Which version is to be used can be found in the product specifications. 1.2 Product identification Fundamentally, all Collection items are to be given an identification. Determining the type and version of the identification is undertaken according to the specifications book by product management and is approved in the status report. The following can be set as identification: 1.2.1 Product label The product label is needed by the GLC for the clear assignment of the supplier and the item. In all products, the product label is visibly applied to the polybag or directly onto the product packaging Positioning: Bottom right of front (polybag) or bottom right underneath (product packaging). Furthermore, in certain products a hang tag is used to which the product label is also to be applied (see 1.2.3). For products without a hang tag, the brand hologram sticker is to be applied next to the product label (see 1.2.2). You can acquire the information for the respective product from the product manager. Before use, as part of the product approval, the product label must be approved in writing by product management. The supplier can acquire the product label from LOHA-Werbemittel GmbH for a fee (see system supplier order template document). Alternatively, the supplier can create the product label themselves. If printing themselves, the supplier is obligated to uphold the precise CI requirements (size, font, etc.) of product management. The product label must not be used to seal the product packaging. Every item of product packaging must be able to be opened without damaging the product label. 1.2.2 Brand Hologram The supplier is obligated to acquire the holograms from Hologram Company RAKO GmbH (see system supplier order template document). Which hologram is required can be found in the product specifications. Seite 5 1.2.3 Hang tag (with brand hologram and product label) In the case of textile products, caps, bags, rucksacks & umbrellas, Mercedes-Benz hang tags are fundamentally used. The supplier is obligated to acquire the hang tags from Hologram Company RAKO GmbH (see system supplier order template document). The hang tag is automatically delivered with the required brand hologram and also has to be labelled with the corresponding product label. Whether or not a hang tag is required, and which one,
