Mercedes-Benz Vans: The Mercedes-Benz Vans lineup includes vehicles for commercial and private use. The com- mercially used model series of the Mercedes-Benz brand include the Citan, the Vito (since the fall of 2015 in North America under the model designation “Metris”), the Sprinter Classic, and the Sprinter (under Freightliner and Mercedes-Benz brands in the U.S.). The new Sprinter, which will be launched in 2018, epitomizes the division’s transformation from a simple vehicle manufacturer to a developer and provider of holistic transportation and mobility solutions. The V-Class and the Marco Polo family round out the privately used model series.
