- Decision:

ComAGRI to give a state of play on the situation concerning the pesticide chlorpyrifos.

SANTE) to provide an update on the sanitary situation in Brazil

Request from Ms McGuinness (EPP, IE) to organise an exchange of views with DG COMP and DG AGRI on the long-term prospects for the European beef sector, in light of falling beef prices for producers, climate change, weakening consumer demand for beef and the impact of EU trade agreements.
- Decision:
- Invite Commission representatives (DG AGRI, DG COMP and DG TRADE) to
an upcoming meeting of ComAGRI to discuss the long-term prospects for the European beef sector.

- Organise, at the beginning of next year, an inter-parliamentary meeting with
members of national parliament committees.
