Go thru 2 traffic lights. At next light, turn right over bridge onto Lake Avenue. Auburn High is ahead just beyond divided highway - on the left. SEWARD ELEMENTARY - Follow AHS directions to turn over bridge onto Lake Avenue, go thru 2 traffic lights and take second right onto Metcalf Drive. Seward is one block ahead on left. CASEY PARK: Route 5 to Columbus Street (There is a large blue factory building, Auburn Technologies, on the right.) Turn North on Columbus Street. It curves and becomes North Division Street. Casey Park is up a couple blocks on the right hand side. (1st right past Falcon Park) EAST MIDDLE SCHOOL / HOLLAND STADIUM: Route 5 to traffic signal at Seward Ave. Exit and Standart Ave. (Cassidy’s Restaurant and P&C Grocery Store on 4 corners) Turn (south) onto Seward Ave. Extension. At four way stop turn left onto Franklin St. East Middle School is on the left one block ahead. (Holland Stadium is behind East Middle School) FALCON PARK: Route 5 to Columbus St. (There is a large blue factory building, Auburn Technologies, on the right.) Turn North onto Columbus St. It curves and becomes North Division Street. Falcon Park is up a couple of blocks on the right hand side. HERMAN AVE.: Route 5 to traffic signal at Seward Ave. Exit and Standart Ave. Turn onto Seward Ave. exit (Cassidy’s Restaurant and P&C Grocery Store on 4 corners) and proceed to next traffic light. Turn left onto East Genesee St. Take the second left onto North Herman Ave. Herman is on the right. VETERANS STADIUM: Route 5 to intersection with Route 326 (near the western Auburn city limits) Veterans Stadium is just ahead (on route 326) on the right hand side. Turn into McQuay parking lot. Field is to the left. WEST MIDDLE SCHOOL: Route 5 into auburn, past Rt. 34 intersection to Washington St. Turn left onto Washington St. Follow Washington Street to the end and turn right onto Genesee St. West Middle School is about 2 blocks down on the right. To YMCA (Swimming): Take Rt. 5 to Rt. 38A. Turn right at traffic light onto Genesee St. Going through downtown area, turn left onto William St. YMCA is one block ahead on right. Proceed straight up the hill to a flashing 4-way caution/stop light which will be East Oneida St. Take a right. Proceed one block to a 4 way stop sign. Take left turn onto main campus. As you proceed on the road, Baker High School will be on your left, the P/A Stadium will be on right Durgee Junior High will be the last school building as you proceed along the road. RAY MIDDLE SCHOOL: From the East take Route 690 West to the Van Buren Road Exit. Turn right off exit (from West turn left) Go past Village Green on your right and proceed down Van Buren Rd. for approximately 1 mile. School will be on your right. LYSANDER PARK (Tennis): From route 690: From the East proceed to the end of Route 690 where there is a stop light. The crossroad will be Henckle Blvd. Turn right (if coming from West, turn left) and proceed to the 4-way stop (WSEN Radio will be directly across) Make right hand turn onto Smokey Hollow Rd. and the park will already be on your right. DIANE REEVES MEMORIAL PARK: Proceed to the Downer St. exit (if coming from West turn left off the exit – coming from East, turn right). Upon turning onto Downer St. (also Rte. 31 West) you will go past the McDonald’s and Pizza Hut on your left Just past this mall you will turn left into the park (has entrance stone with I.D.) Turn left onto Route 48 and proceed approximately 1 mile – the golf course will be on your right, across from the Mobile gas station. FOXFIRE GOLF COURSE (Boys): Route 690 West to the Van Buren Road exit. Turn right off the exit onto Van Buren Road and the golf course will be on your right. Turn left onto Brighton Ave. Turn right at the second stoplight onto Seneca Turnpike (Route 173.) Stay on this all the way through the valley, up Onondaga Hill. Bear right at “Y” to continue on Route 173 Turn right at the next light onto Velasko Road. Summary Statement 1.1 The Council’s Standing Orders relating to contracts were revised in July 2002 to accord with the models provided by the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA) also published in July 2002. 1.2 Under the revised orders, for purchases/services of £1,101 to £40,000, if at least three quotations cannot be obtained approval must be obtained from the appropriate Chief Officer and the matter reported to the appropriate Cabinet Member at his/her next public decision making session (Cabinet Advisory Team). 1.3 For purchases/services of £40,000 and below £100,000 where four tenders are not to be invited, the approval of the appropriate Chief Officer, must be obtained, in consultation with the appropriate Cabinet Member, and the matter reported to the Cabinet Member at his/her next public decision making session (Cabinet Advisory Team). 1.4 There is also a requirement to report back to the Cabinet Member on any contracts awarded in excess of £40,000. 1.5 Details of those orders and contracts are listed in Appendix A. 1.6 Following the expiry of the existing tenders, a review of the Council’s provision for the supply of vehicles and plant was undertaken by the Purchasing Services Office and Fleet Management and Maintenance. 1.7 In conjunction with other local authorities, the Council has joined ‘The Procurement Partnership’ which is a purchasing consortium.
